N.W.A. MAIN EVENT WRESTLING RESULTS FOR 7/8/06  COLUMBIA, TN.

SATURDAY NIGHT 7/8/06, MIKE SIRCY SHOW HIS TRUE COLORS.

For the past four week, Mike Sircy has maintained that he has had nothing to do with the Top Rope workers attempting to “take overâ€? NWA Main Event. In an effort to keep up that appearance, Mike Sircy took it upon himself to present Mike Porter with a framed certificate of sorts from the NWA Board of Directors. When Mike Porter turned to thank the board and the fans of NWA Main Event, Mike Sircy took the framed certificate and smashed it over Mike Porter’s skull, busting it wide open. As if cued, the NWA Top Rope workers piled out to ring side, dragged Mike Porter into the ring and proceeded to abuse him until the NWA Main Event workers chased them out of the ring and to the back.

MATCH 1: SPYDER JAY JACOBS   --VS--  JASON X (w/Avenger)

Avenger was going to sneak attack Spyder Jay Jacobs with a bar but Spyder wrestled it away from Avenger and proceeded to use it on both Jason X and Avenger.

Jason X d. Spyder Jay Jacobs via disqualification, 5:13.

MATCH 2: SHAUN FATAL & CHRIS NORTE -VS.- JAPANAMATION (w/ Miss Opium)

Shaun had Manga pinned while Nortebut as the ref counted to three Miss Opium put Manga’s foot on the rope. Despite counting to three, the ref rescinded his decision and ordered the match to be restarted.

Norte gave chase to Opium outside the ring and was blindsided by Anime In the ring Fatal gave Manga a back suplex during which he nailed Fatal with the num chucks. The referee was busy trying to regain order outside the ring and turned to see Manga covering Shaun Fatal.

Japanimation d. Shaun Fatal/Chris Norte via pin fall, 8:43.

.

MATCH 3: ANTONIO (w/Cody Whitehead) --VS-- LEE CONDRY (w/Shady Grady and D’Angelo)

While D’Angelo kept Cody Whitehead busy on the outside, Lee threw Antonio into the ropes and Shady nailed him in the back with a brief case.

Lee Condry d. Antonio via pin fall, 6:30

MATCH 4: MATT CATALANO VS. LA PLAYER (w/Y.T.)

YT was planning on smacking Matt with his briefcase but missed and instead whacked LA Player. Matt rolled him up.

Matt Catalano d. LA Player via pin fall, 7:01.

MATCH 5: CODY WHITEHEAD (w/Antonio) VS. DEANGELO (w/Shady Grady and Lee Condry)

Antonio and Lee we’re creating a disturbance outside the ring that kept the referee busy long enough for Shady to give D’Angelo a pipe to use on Cody. Cody kicked D’Angelo, took the pipe and whopped D’Angelo just as the referee turned around.  The referee called for the bell.

            D’Angelo d. Cody Whitehead via disqualification, 6:20.

MATCH 6:  NWA MID AMERICA HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH.  STEVE-O VS. "MR IMPACT" JT QUEST (w/X-Stacy).

X-Stacy tried to attack Steve O through the ropes while JT and the ref were looking the other way but Steve grabbed X-Stacy and pulled her into the ring. It looked like he was going to get even with her but at the last minute she DDTed him and rolled out of the ring.

X-Stacy later hauled off and punched Steve O with a roll of pennies in her hand, allowing JT and easy pin. Steve O demanded a rematch in which X-Stacy was barred from ringside.

JT Quest d. Steve O via pin fall, 8:52.

MATCH 7: FAN PARTICIPATION LUMBERJACK STRAP MATCH

TEAM MAIN EVENT: PSYCHO MEDIC, AARICK ANDREWS, MATT KORBANE, CHRIS CANE, NEW YORK GANGSTER.

TEAM TOP ROPE: BIG BULLY DOUGLAS, TR CLIQUE #1, ANTHONY "THE FREAK" INGRAM, JASON JAMES.

This match was scheduled to be a 10 man tag match with a still bloody Mike Porter as the special referee. Mike Porter announced to all in attendance that since NWA Main Event had 5 men on their team and NWA Top Rope only had 4 men, he had taken it upon himself to call the NWA Board of Directors who decreed that Mike Sircy would be the 5th man on the NWA Top Rope team.

Team Top Rope cheated behind Referee Porter’s back every chance they got until they decided to end the match by jumping Mike Porter. Naturally, every Team Main Event man jumped to his aid and a bar style brawl broke out in and around the ring. Team Top Rope walked away leaving Team Main Event pretty beat up.

Pepper Parks def Adrian Lynch in a very solid opener.
The crowd hated Lynch from the beginning, and Pepper won with the Pepper Shaker Neck Breaker

Mississippi Madman def Bryce Benjamin and KC Jackson in a handicap match.
Total squash and Madman looked dominant. Madman is a huge crowd favorite in Streamwood

Carmine Despirito, Abyss, SkullKrusher, Danny Daniels and Karl Anderson hit the ring. Carmine was informed that Abyss' opponent would be none other than the SkullKrusher Rashee Brown

Jason Dukes def Jason Strife with a handful of tights.
This match was amazing and set the pace for the rest of the show. Plenty of flips and dives, and the crowd was on their feet for the whole match.

Alex Shelly vs Chris Sabin went to a double pin.
This match was excellent, and both of these guys really put on a clinic. Both of these guys are quite possibly the best wrestlers in North America, and they showed why in Streamwood.

Intermission

After intermission, it was announced that on September 16th, it would be the debut of Terry Taylor, a return match between Sabin and Shelley, the return of Petey Williams and Scott D'Amore, as well as the debut of Americas Most Wanted

Team Canada hit the ring and said they would defeat Corp and Craig in the main event

Estaban Molina and Ricky Thomas def Blacklisted to become the NEW NWA Midwest Tag Team Champions.
It was a shock and quite possibly the biggest upset in our history, but Thomas and Molina are the New Champs. Finish came when Michael Star was attacked by Corp and Craig. Jason Reign went to make the save, leaving Cordova alone for the 1.2.3

Karl Anderson def Eric Priest in an amazing match. Anderson used the turnbuckle for extra leverage on his Boston Crab. Priest never tapped out in this match, however the pain was too much, and he passed out. Anderson did not relinquish the Boston Crab, and from nowhere came this GIANT woman to make the save. This is the same woman that attacked Gail Kim on TNA t the PPV. What is her deal in Midwest, we dont know, but we do know she will be wrestling MsChiff on Sept 16th

Ryan Boz def Danny Daniels to become the NEW NWA Heartland States Champion.
Great match by both men, which saw Boz get busted open with the belt.

Intermission

Abyss def SkullKrusher Rashee Brown when Carmine's plan to turn on Abyss backfired. Carmine played it down the middle the whole match until the end, where he nailed Abyss with a chair. It was not enough to put Abyss away, and he nailed Brown with the Black Hole Slam

The Extreme Dream Team (Corp and Craig) def Team Canada after Coach D'Amore nailed Petey Williams with the Canadian destroyer. This was a true main event, and it tore the house down.

Partial Lineup for Sept 16th is

Wildcat Chris Harris and Cowboy James Storm, Americas Most Wanted
vs
The Extreme Dream Team

For the NWA Midwest X Division title (THERE MUST BE A WINNER)
Alex Shelley (c)
vs
Chris Sabin

Plus:
Terry Taylor
Petey Williams
Coach Scott D'Amore
Eric Priest
Karl Machine Gun Anderson
Pepper Parks
Ricky Thomas and Estaban Molina
Blacklisted
and much much more
