BILL BEHRENS NWA NOTES for 5-15-06

NWA ANARCHY EXCESSIVE FORCE (5/20/06) PREVIEW:

Well fans, it's been long overdue but I'm back with another Anarchy report. I apologize for the lack of updates. I've had alot of stuff going on and just simply haven't had the time or motivation to write up the reports, even though I've still been attending shows regularly. So now it's time to get back on track as we are just a little over one week away from a milestone in NWA Anarchy. Saturday, May 20th NWA Anarchy presents the 1st Annual "Excessive Force" at the NWA Arena in Cornelia, GA.

It's been a wild two months in the aftermath of Hardcore Hell 2006. That night, many new chapters began in the careers of several Anarchy stars...and for others, the plot has thickened. With the recent turmoil in Anarchy regarding the Devil's Rejects and their vicious thefts and attacks (Urban Assault Squad's belts, and Ace Rockwell's hand...more specifically), The unrest in the heavyweight title chase, Anarchy owner Jerry Palmer taking a leave of absence to finish his wresting training in order to be prepared for The Rejects, and consultant Todd Sexton having to split the duty of training Palmer in a "fast track" course as well as run Anarchy, the atmosphere at Anarchy has been very "seat of the pants". With chaos all around, Excessive Force will exemplify that. The inmates are trying to not only run the asylum, but take it over and burn it to the ground. The Anarchy officials have been scrambling to sign big matches and the card is now complete. I'd pretty much bet that anything could happen on May 20th at the NWA Arena.

First, let's look at the war between NWA Anarchy and The Devil's Rejects since there have been two big matches signed in an attempt to get some sort of resolution to this matter.

First off, a match for the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Championship....
Champions: Urban Assault Squad (Nemesis & Shadow Jackson) vs. The Devil's Rejects w/ Dan "The Dragon" Wilson

This goes back really to the night the entire NWA Anarchy locker-room stood up to the Rejects in March. The Urban Assault Squad were the only two people that The Rejects actually showed some reservations about. So that tells you how for real Nemesis and Shadow Jackson are. The Rejects have publically claimed they are criminally insane...... yet after laughing in the face of the best and brightest stars Anarchy had to offer that night when they stared into the eyes of The UAS and saw what these men have seen, they took a step back. Shadow and Nemesis have spent their lifes growing up street smart. They know what it's like to live in the rough part of town. They know what it's like to steal for survival, to get arrested, and most of all they know how to fight. Nobody will ever confuse the two for being great technicians..... but Nemesis and Shadow Jackson know how to handle themselves in the wrestling ring or anywhere outside it. They are hardended thugs who can play on the Rejects level. This rivalry escalted when UAS made it very clear they were going to stand up for NWA Anarchy, regardless of the consequences. This, coupled with the fact that they are the most popular tag team in Anarchy definately made them a target of the heinous Devil's Rejects.

On April 15th, 2006 after all Urban Assault Squad had gone through, they defeated Jeremy V and his substitute partner, former NWA Wildside Champion and TNA star, Hotstuff Hernandez to become the first two time tag team champions in NWA Anarchy history. It was a long hard road for the UAS to the belts the first time....the second time was no easier and they'd just overcome a cagey and in his prime Jeremy V and the freight-train known as Hernandez. This was a moment of pure glory for Nemesis and Shadow. They soaked in the resonating screams of the audience in celebration.....until cold hard reality hit them, and proceeded to beat them to a pulp, give them a ground zero splash off the second turnbuckle and walk away with THEIR tag team championships. That reality had a name.....it was "The Strong Style Psycho" Tank, and "The No Pain Train" Iceberg. The two baddest hitmen in the Reject's army. The "reverend" (I use that term loosely) Dan Wilson cackled with laughter as this evil deed was accomplished and it was about to get even uglier when the "implement of mass destruction" was unsheathed from beneath his cloak....but the Anarchy locker-room, continuing to show unity sent the Rejects out the back door once again.

The Rejects have taunted the UAS with the titles they rightfully hold, despite what Wilson claims. The UAS has said it out loud. They don't want new championships made, they don't want a pitty party, all they want is (to quote Shadow Jackson) "To whip the Rejects dog ass!" They will get that opportunity and then some. "The Concrete Gorillaz" have been back to the streets. They want to get in the nastiest frame of mind possible because they know they will be looking hell in the face and standing up for not only themselves but all of NWA Anarchy when they collide with The Devil's Rejects. Is the NWA Arena even big enough to hold that match? We'll find out Saturday night.

TEXAS TORNADO MATCH: NO RULES, UNSANCTIONED, UNCENSORED- TOTAL WAR!!!!

"The Seven Figure Deal" Ace Rockwell & "The Real" Slim J vs. “The Sleeper Cell” Shaun Tempers & “The Son Of Satan” Azrael w/ Wilson & Dominous

It’s been over 5 months since The Devil’s Rejects set Ace Rockwell up by having his BEST FRIEND and tag team partner of 10 years, Shaun Tempers throw him to the demons. On that fateful night the tide of NWA Anarchy shifted forever. Ace Rockwell was butchered like a hog by The Devil’s Rejects. It was one of the most vicious attacks we’ve ever seen here in NWA Anarchy. With each slice of blade into his skin, Rockwell saw the last seconds of a 10 year relationship shredding away. Each time Tank, Iceberg and Azrael stabbed him it also brought him one step closer to being a new man. The era of being a tag team wrestler, for Rockwell, had ended with a ferocious strike of lightning and he was on his own. All this went through his mind while Tempers cackled and embraced Wilson while his partner was being dismantled.

The Rejects claimed they were done with Rockwell, and told him to go home. Wilson claimed he “didn’t want to be responsible for telling his mama he was coming home in a box”. At this point Rockwell could’ve stepped away, he could’ve done a lot of things….but he chose to stay and fight. And each time he tried to get retribution, Tempers ducked him…plain and simple. He ran, and ran until Hardcore Hell when their first singles match was finally signed. When backed into a corner Tempers fought back and the result was a tooth and nail battle between two former best friends who’s hatred for one another couldn’t have been stronger. The outcome of the match was typical Rejects fair, however. Azrael hit the ring for the DQ, the second Rockwell hit “Aces High” on Tempers. A sweet, decisive victory over his most hated enemy was not in the cards for Rockwell that night.

However immediately following that match, with the mysterious disappearance of “The Soul Assassin” Kory Chavis….. team Anarchy was in need of a partner. It came in the unlikely form of the returning Slim J. He could’ve gone right back after Jeff Lewis for putting him on the shelf in the first place, and owner Jerry Palmer was VERY hesitant about clearing Slim to wrestle that night….but Slim J showed that not only was he a company man…..he clearly stated that this “was his fight too”. He’d fought for the honor of the NWA Arena for his entire career. He owed everything he had in wrestling to beginning there when he was merely a child. Despite his small stature ,Slim earned the support of everyone in Anarchy that night at Hardcore Hell when all 187 lbs of him went toe to toe with Azrael, Tank and Iceberg in a 6 man No DQ match. He almost had “The Son Of Satan” pinned….but alas, the 7 foot tall monster Dominous interfered and choke-slammed Slim J damn near through the ring… and the Rejects stole another.

Rockwell and Slim J became close friends out of necessity. They were watching each other’s backs…because both had made themselves #1 public enemies on the Reject’s hit list.
There were a series of tag matches signed, both regular tags and 6 man matches including Brandon P…….(who after a series of brutal beatings, just simply threw his hands up and left, and hasn’t been seen since). During those matches, it was par for the course…Dominous or Wilson got involved somehow and Shaun Tempers began pinning Ace Rockwell.

Owner Jerry Palmer tried to fight against it. He even had one decision reversed…..which sounded like a great idea on paper. That was until Wilson got in Palmer’s face over the decision and shoved Jerry….who responded by slinging that gnome out of the ring. The crowd rejoiced seeing someone finally put Wilson in his place…but that joy was short lived, for the Iceberg had come to feast. Palmer was crushed in the corner by one massive shot from the 600 lbs. No Pain Train. His history of neck injuries re-aggrevated, Palmer had to go to the emergency room. So far in this war, The Rejects fired the first shot…and while Anarchy shot back many times…..this was a cannon sized blast to the hopes of the fans and the staff. Palmer has made it clear he’s getting trained as a wrestler against doctors orders and is going to have the knowledge to defend himself the next time he’s put in that position. His training has shown a lot of frustration….and it’s certainly not been easy but as far as we know he hasn’t given up. Which leads us to Excessive Force. Palmer is still in seclusion, but he’s sent two generals who while smaller than most, have more heart than ANYONE on the roster in Rockwell and Slim J. They have a blood hatred for the Devil’s Rejects and in this type of match they’ll get to use every ounce of emotion they have….and really be able to play on the Rejects level. Anything goes…Texas Tornado. The stipulations may sound like they’re geared toward The Devil’s Rejects….but in reality, they resort to those tactics anyway. Rockwell could get his win over Tempers finally, or Slim J could proudly plant Azrael into the mat for the 1-2-3. The playing field is even. Somebody’s gonna bleed!!!!!!

And…

The NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Championship on the line:
© “Technical Perfection” Chad Parham vs. “The Feature Presentation” Jeff Lewis

Jeff Lewis has been a man of his word. Wait…wait, before you click off the page let me explain myself. Yeah, he’s been one dirty SOB. I’m not defending his actions at all, but he hooked and crooked his way through the #1 Contendership tournament to get this spot by defeating Slim J, Sal Rinauro, and Ace Rockwell all in one night. “The Feature Presentation” is prime and gunning for Chad Parham’s NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Championship. He also knows just enough dirty tricks to walk away with it after Saturday night.

Parham, however, has been a fighting champion, defending the honor of the championship at any opportunity given to him. So far since winning the title from Mikal Adryan at Hardcore Hell in the ladder match, he’s defeated Japanese star Milano Collection AT; the longest reigning Jr. Heavyweight Champion in the history of NWA Wildside, Fast Eddie; Former ECW Tag Team Champion “The Italian Monster” Tony Mamaluke; and he also handed “The One Man Mafia” Mikal Adryan his first pinfall loss yet in almost a year of competition in NWA Anarchy in their long awaited championship re-match. Parham has not been afraid once to look his competition in the eye and wrestle them to the finish. He’s come out on top each time thus far.

There was a bit of controversy in the ending of the victory over Adryan. Jeff Lewis, (after making an agreement with Adryan and his manager, attorney Jeff G. Bailey, to help defeat Parham) went swinging for the fences at Parham’s head with a chair…but it clocked “The One Man Mafia”….this allowed Parham to get rid of Lewis and get the 1, 2, 3 over Adryan….ending the biggest winning streak in NWA Anarchy to date. Saturday night, May 20th…..Lewis gets the chance to back up all the smack he’s been talking. His “run for the gold”, or “trying to win an oscar” as he put it. It’s put up or shut up time against a man who’s already seen many top dogs gunning for him, and has come out on top.

I wouldn’t count out the former Champion either. “The One Man Mafia” Mikal Adryan and Jeff G. Bailey will be watching this match-up closely, for the winner will have a bulls-eye on his forehead in the shape of Mikal Adryan’s foot.

Also….

Tag Team Action:
Alabama Attitude (T.C. Carnage & Adam Roberts) vs. The Guys Who Totally Rule (“Kool” Seth Delay & “The Human Action Figure” Patrick Bentley)

Alabama Attitude was quick to answer the challenge of the Guys prior to Hardcore Hell when they said they wanted some competition. Roberts and Carnage had been met with much frustration in their conquest to re-gain the NWA Anarchy tag team championship. After losing the titles their frustrations became more apparent every week and they needed someone to take them out on….. The Guys were glad to take them up on their challenge..but didn’t expect to be sneak attacked. They got back on track at Hardcore Hell when they stole a victory from Delay and Bentley. The two teams have met in a series of 6 and 8 man tags with other partners in which they’ve split victories. Attitude still holds the edge in their series overall. Just last week this match was set up as a result of this rivalry heating up even further. After Alabama defeated Randall Johnson & Adrian Hawkins, they were about to give the young lions of anarchy an “Alabama Ass Whoopin’” courtesy of their CSA buckled belts….that is until Delay and Bentley had enough. They made the save and made the challenge…Guys vs. Attitude- The Rematch, at Excessive Force. This rivalry will be settled.

And…

NWA Anarchy Television Championship on the line…
TV Champion “The Attraction” Hayden Young will defend the title, and he’ll have the chance to scout out his opponent as he’ll be facing the winner of a match earlier in the evening between Krazy K and Dexter Poindexter. Both of these young stars out of North Carolina, and pupils of former NWA Arena star Jeff Hardy, have made waves across the country. They know each other very well, they’ve teamed together, fought against one another and traveled the roads together. They will put their best skills to the test against each other with only the winner going on to face Hayden Young later that night!!!!

Plus…

In 6 Man Tag Team Action:
The Texas Wrestling Academy: “The Coach” Rudy Boy Gonzalez, “The Rock N Roll Ninja” Skitzo, and “Elimi-date Superstar” Hector Navarro vs. Brett Thunder, Adrian Hawkins and Randall Johnson

It took young Brett Thunder a lot of abuse to understand that the TWA was just not the academy for him. He’d done a lot of hard work for coach Rudy with no return. After getting pinned in a crucial match, The TWA crew beat the snot out of Thunder and he got a superkick to the face courtesy of his former coach. Thunder is back with some new friends in the form of Johnson and Hawkins and is looking for a little payback. We’ll see if he’ll get it at Excessive Force.

This is one big event as we kick off the Summer at the NWA Arena with our first supercard, where the action is always hotter than the temperature……..and that’s saying a lot!!!!

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere!!!!!!!!!!!

NWA Virginia in Richmond, VA - 5/06/06

1) The Platinum Icons (Phil Brown and Dirty Money) defeated Old School Empire (Preston Quinn and Mike Booth) to retain the NWA Virginia Tag Team Championship after Brown gave PQ a Superkick and Dirty rolled him up for the pinfall.

Rick O'Brien came out and served Preston Quinn with official orders from the NWA to pay a sum of $1000 for the brass knuckles incident in Saluda or be fired. PQ tried to appeal to Rick because of how long he's worked for Rick, but Rick doesn't flater on his words. PQ gets in the face of Jeff Capo, who gave Rick the papers and punches him out before firing Neil Sharkey and leaving the building.

2) Chris Dramin defeated Horrorshow via pinfall with a Running Death Valley Driver

Sharkey came out and said that OSE would take care of business another night, and that it's ok that he got fired by PQ because he already has a brand new team to manage, and he introduces Mike Vaughan and Robert Royal, Attitude Inc.

3) Thrills and Chills (Alexx Sage and Chris Escobar) defeated Attitude Inc. (Robert Royal and Mike Vaughan) via pinfall when Escobar rolled up Vaughan. (1/2*)

4) "Tornado" Tony Kozina defeated NWA Virginia Jr. Heavyweight

Magic with a Swinging Fisherman's Suplex

7) NWA Virginia State Heavyweight Champion "Mr. Mid Atlantic" DamienWayne defeated "Wrestling's MVP" Sean Denny via pinfall to retain the NWA Virginia Championship with a Death Valley Driver. (**1/2)

After the match, Mike Vaughan came out and told Damien Wayne he was coming for his belt. Wayne said he didn't care and that they could go right now or wait, it was up to him. Vaughan teased a match tonight, but backed out and said it would happen later.

After the show was over, the remaining people that were in the
building were treated to a special post main event.

8) Ed the Trainee defeated Cheese Unit (Marky Lei and Fan 6D6) w/ James Patrick after Ed hit a Sunset Flip on Fan 6D6

Preston Quinn's Suspension - A Clarification

Just wanted to let everyone know that due to Mr. Quinn's actions in Saluda, and with the full blessing of the NWA Executive Director, NWA Star Preston Quinn has been suspended from any and all NWA related wrestling events in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I did not make that decision lightly.  However the act that took place in Saluda, that was captured not only on video tape, but also by the Main Stream media [Southside Sentinel] has caused the NWA organization embarassment, and has caused NWA Virginia specifically to lose revenue from potential venues and sponsors.

Mr. Quinn was given a choice.  He could either pay two $500 fines [one for the NWA Parent organization and one to NWA Virginia] or be suspended.  Unfortunately for wrestling fans within the Commonwealth, Mr. Quinn thought only of himself and not the betterment of the organization and refused to comply with the legal document that was served to him on Saturday's show.  All of these events were taped for a future episode of The Action Zone.

Rather than acknowledge his wrongdoing, and man up to his responsibilities, Mr. Quinn [stage name] refused to pay and then pushed an officer of NWA Virginia, Senior NWA Referee Jeff Capo.  Mr. Quinn forced the hand of the National Wrestling Alliance.  Rules are meant to be enforced, consequences taken, and life is meant to go on.  Unfortunately, Mr. Quinn feels he is above the law and rules.   My actions on Saturday proved that he is not.

Please make sure you attend future NWA irginia events especially this Saturday in Martinsville for the Great Virginia Bash!

NWA Virginia Comings & Goings:

Recently there have been several NWA Stars that have disappeared from the scene in NWA Virginia.  Some have left for personal reasons, and one has left because of a recent loss.  There are also several wrestlers who are new to the scene at NWA Virginia.

Departing NWA Virginia for at least the time being are Dragan Frost and Kiley McLean. Both have pressing personal issues that need their time, and in the case of the former Women's World Champion, an injury that needs time to heal.  Both have been, and will continue to be missed.

Max Dynamite has left wrestling due to a fantastic career opportunity outside of wrestling.  The exciting rookie enjoyed success here in NWA Virginia and could be credited with driving out the EoD due to his relentless battles against them.

Also departing, as a result of his lack of talent and big mouth, is Sean Callaway. Callaway recently put his career on the line against former tag partner Chris Dramin out in Sugar Grove.  Unfortunately for him, he lost.  Mr. Sean Callaway is gone from NWA Virginia.

Coming in to NWA Virginia is a whole slew of new talent.  From RLL has come Adrian Blaze, Fighty [NOT Fatty, as was originally reported] McIrish, and Horrorshow.  Negotiations have also begun with Shane Falco, former NWA North American Tag Team Champion, Pat Q-Sic, as well as several others.  Three time NWA-NY Heavyweight Champion MAGIC was in town for this past event, and has been promised more dates by NWA Virginia higher ups. Rex Sterling has been added to the NWA Virginia 'Great Virginia Bash' kick-off event in Martinsville.  He impressed the office with his performance against NWA Virginia Jr. Heavyweight Champion Grail.  Pharaoh has a new person with him but he is keeping ALL details about the person in white to himself.  A name is being sought, but Pharaoh is keeping us in the dark.

Making an impact at upcoming shows should be The Masked Superstar and The Midnight Express. Doink has also made several appearances with NWA Virginia and is planning on making more.  Former NWA World Tag Team and WWWF Heavyweight Champion 'The Russian Bear' Ivan Koloff will be attending the 'Great Virginia Bash' when it stops in Chesterfield.

More and more wrestlers are looking to arrive and take part in NWA Virginia.  Keep checking back to see who is in, and who is out!

Here are the quick results from the Great Virginia Bash at Hooker Field in Martinsville, Virginia:

'Wrestling's MVP' Sean Denny pinned 'Simply Perfect' Preston Quinn. After the match NWA Virginia Promoter announced the crowd that Quinn's appeal to NWA Executive Director Bob Trobich and DPOR Head David Holland had been rejected. As such, his suspension has taken effect. Quinn did not like this news and delivered three rolling piledrivers followed by a Power Bomb to Denny. Quinn said he was going to stop NWA Virginia's 'Golden Boy' from ever getting near Damian Wayne's Heavyweight strap!

New Egypt, Pharaoh and his new partner, Lazarus, defeated The Xtreme Outlaws when Pharaoh pinned DP Holliday.

'Tornado' Tony Kozina pinned Grail to become the NEW NWA Virginia Jr. Heavyweight Champion in a Fatal Four Way. Rex Sterling was eliminated by Mike Vaughn via Superkick. Vaughn was then eliminated by Grail following outside interference by Damian Wayne who posted Vaughn twice on the outside.

The Masked Superstars [Legendary Masked Superstar and debuting Masked Superstar 2] defeated Doink the Clown and Stan 'The Man' Lee. Lee turned on Doink after several gags by Doink backfired on to Lee during the match. Masked Superstar returned to make the save by whacking Lee with a chair to the head!

North American Tag Team Champions UNOD [Drake Tungsten & Badnews Johnson] lost by disqualification to 'Heatmiser' Scotty Blaze & 'Revolution' Chris Dramin when Badnews followed Masked Superstar's advice and way-layed Blaze with a chair.

In the Main Event, NWA Virginia Heavyweight Champion 'Mr. Mid-Atlantic' Damian Waynew/ Stan Lee defeated 'Wild Eyed Southern Boy' Tracy Smothers via pinfall. Lee distracted the referee every time Smothers had Wayne pinned. Wayne ultimately pulled out a chain that he hit Smothers in the head with for the 1, 2, 3.

A great night of wrestling action.

NWA Virginia is scouting a few buildings in that area for a follow-up show in the near future, including the National Guard Armory in Martinsville and a building in Danville.

Next stop on the Great Virginia Bash tour is a stop in Twin Valley Oaks Elementary/Middle School on May 27. That show will feature former NWA World Heavyweight Champion 'Hands of Stone' Ronnie Garvin and former WWE World Tag Team Champion Heidenriech!

Thrills and Chills Spoil North American Tag Team Party!

Grail & Smallz battle for Junior Heavyweight Gold!

(Chesterfield, Va) NWA North American Tag Team Champions Drake Tungsten and Badnews Johnson were in a very good mood for this week's episode.  It was, afterall, Badnews' birthday.  As Drake and Badnews were about to comment on their upcoming title match,Thrills and Chills, Chris Escobar and Alexx Sage, came to the ring and something special took place.  To see the festivities that took place, you need to watch the new episode.

Grail versus Tommie Smallz is also showcased on this episode.  The show starts with the match from Sugar Grove for the 'Toys For Tots' show.  Smallz defeated Grail to capture the NWA Virginia Jr. Heavyweight Championship.  Several fans called that match the best of Smallz career to date.  The rematch from Saluda is also shown and an angry, hungry Grail brutalizes an overwhelmed Smallz.

With the 2nd Great Virginia Bash Tour set to begin in Martinsville, the question that needs to be asked is who will survive the Tour with title intact?

"With so much action taking place all over the Commonwealth, we will have footage for many, many episodes," said camera person Jack Howser. "We'll be able to pick and choose what matches we want to air.  The boys are going to have to step it up if they want the exposure of all the downloads we have been getting."

"We are looking at expanding our merchandise section to include not only t-shirts, but also videos," said Rick OBrien. "I know we have been saying that for awhile, but all the pieces are falling in to place.  With the influx of new talent, we also have new behind the scene's personel as well."

NWA Virginia's 'The Action Zone' can be found at www.nwavirginia.com and by then clicking on Multimedia.

Thrills and Chills heading to California for NWA Pro!

Despite an injury to his knee, Alexx Sage will be joining Chris Escobar for a fantastic learning and training experience as the two NWA Stars head to the Inoki Dojo in California!

"We are excited about the possibilities to train with some of the best, and by some of the best," said Chris Escobar this morning before his plane took off.

"Even with my knee hurting thanks to Robert Royal, I know that we will make an impact and be successful at the NWA New Japan Dojo," said a limping Sage.

Both wrestlers will be spending between 2 weeks and a month at the facility.  They will be trained in various mixed martial arts techniques as well as live and breath wrestling while there.  There is also a chance that if they impress their trainers enough with their ability that they may get a contract with New Japan, just as Fergal Devitt from NWA Ireland has done.

"This is an incredible opportunity for them," said NWA Virginia Promoter Rick OBrien, "and special thanks goes out to Dave Marquez for helping to arrange for this opportunity.   I know they will not let anyone of us here in Virignia down."

This can only bode ill for Attitude Inc, Old School Empire, NWA Virginia Tag Champions Platinum Icons and NWA North American Tag Team Champions UNOD, as Thrills and Chills are still in their infancy as a team.  They can only improve as time goes on, which might have several teams very worried.

Sexy Tough Dudes new NWA Southwest Texas Tag Team
Champions

Sexy Tough Dudes  (Chaz Taylor & Fast Eddie)  won a
4-team Tag Team tournament March 12, in
Houston,
Texas
, for the vacant NWA Texas Tag Team title.

Promoter Ken Taylor earlier in the week he had
stripped the title held by ReGex (Seth Shai & Mace)
for not defending their title in pst 60 days
and couldn't until May 28, so he went to Houston with
the straps and sanctioned the title match under NWA
rules.  The other three teams in the 4-way Tag Match
included Fumankru, Crusaders, and Eddie Lee & Doctor
H.M. Rhod.

Taylor warned the new champions they had 60 days to do
a title defense or they will get the same axe as
ReGex.  "We want fighting champions working that's not
asking a lot.  I am making the statement that you
either defend every 60 days or kiss the belts goodbye."

A crowd of 120 paid at VFW Post enjoyed the 5-match Show.

An ULTIMATE NWA fan wrote……..I attented the Ultimate NWA card at the Alabama A&M University Agribition Center last night. It looked like about a 600 house with tickets $10 & $7 with $2 off on the advanced sales. I didn't get down the results. Maybe someone else will have them. I do know that "Action" Mike Jackson kept his Alabama Jr.Heavyweight belt against "Canadian Kid" Chris Lee, Crisjen Hayme & Lash Laroux won a tag match, Elix Skipper won a match, & Buff Baswell won the Ultimate NWA Title from Adam Roberts. The crowd was fairly hot most of the show. Buff was really over.
