Christopher Daniels was arrested over the weekend for driving while
impaired in Smithfield, North Carolina.
Cops picked him up during a traffic stop and he failed a Breathalyzer
test 0.14.
Daniels was charged under his real name of Daniel Covell and later
released on a $2000 bond.
According to his arrest report, officer J.A. Calzaretta Jr. stopped
Covell’s 2009 Dodge Charger for a traffic violation, which led to his
arrest.
Daniels had spent a portion of early Friday morning partying with WWE
star Hurricane Helms and the pair had wrote about their drinking
exploits and posted pictures on their Twitter accounts.
Helms wrote: "[Daniels] is at the Hurri-Cave. I hate his liver and it
must be destroyed!"
In response, Daniels retorted: "The Hurri-cave is tremendous. I am in
awe of it's splendor!"
Helms then wrote: "At this point, I'm pretty sure [Daniels] liver hates
me too. But that's how I roll. F**k livers! ... What a night! This was
one for the books, And by that I mean one of those books that will never
be written!"
Daniels agreed, quipping: "By the way, I also hate my liver, but only
slightly less than myself as a whole. Kill me if you see me!"
Daniels worked the TNA TV tapings today in Orlando. It's unclear whether
TNA management was aware of his arrest or whether he will face any
disciplinary action.
