BRET HART ADDRESSES 1PW'S "JARRETT PROBLEM"
BRET HART hasn't wasted any time embroiling himself in the politics of 1PW. "The Hitman", who just last week signed an exclusive UK appearance deal with the fledgling promotion, this morning issued a statement to 1PW and its fans regarding January's scheduled appearances by JEFF JARRETT.
"So, I see that my old friend Jeff Jarrett has, as usual, barged in
someplace where he's not wanted. Well, it seems there's not a lot you guys can do to get rid of him right away, but maybe I can help make his stay in 1PW a painful one. I know someone who would love to come to Doncaster and get his hands on Jarrett. And wrenching the NWA World champ’s head off of his shoulders would be another nice notch on his belt. I’ll bring him to England with me and have him at the Dome on Friday night January 6th ready to fight. You make sure Jeff Jarrett is there and my guy will take care of your problem."

More than being just two nights of great wrestling action, the NO
TURNING BACK weekend also begins the march towards crowning the first-ever 1PW
World Heavyweight champion. A series of 8 qualifying matches will be held
with each of the winners earning a spot in the March 5th one-night tournament.
Over the past few weeks, 1PW Newsline has revealed half of that 8 match
line-up. Today, in one fell swoop, we will be releasing all 4 remaining matches.
First, on Friday night, the Qualifying Round begins with two of
Britain's finest going one-on-one for a shot at the gold when "The Anarchist"
DOUG WILLIAMS takes on "The Pukka One" DARREN BURRIDGE. Burridge is proud to say he truly "earned" his spot in 1PW with his victory in the Proving
Ground Battle Royal at A CRUEL TWIST OF FATE. How will he fare against the
international skill and experience of Doug Williams? Join us in Doncaster to find out.
Then, in a rematch from ACTOF, the ever-popular D-LO BROWN squares off
against rising indy superstar, STERLING JAMES KEENAN. Sterling, who is
backed up by the monstrous ABYSS, wants to make it two in a row against
his veteran foe and earn a spot in the tournament. For his part, D-Lo only
has one question for everyone: "Are you down?"
Next up are two of TNA's best and brightest attempting to reach the
tournament as the inventor of the Canadian Destroyer, PETEY WILLIAMS
steps into the ring against the master of the cradle piledriver, JERRY LYNN.
Piledriver vs. piledriver. Former X Division champ vs. former X Division
champ. Two of the most exciting wrestlers on the planet face off for a
chance at glory.

in the house to try and add the 1PW title to his AWA World strap when he
fights CHARLIE HAAS for a first round spot in March. Haas is on a mission to
prove that certain “former employers” made a huge mistake letting him go but
don’t count on the ever-wily Corino to underestimate Haas’ talent. This match has
the potential to steal the show.
