…..

Hi Georgiann

I attended the Bret Hart Book Signing at the Torrance, Ca Borders lastnight and I have to say it was really good.

The line started at 5pm and I arrived a little bit after 6pm. There was about 120 people in front of me already. The usual rules were explained with what he would and wouldn't sign. Bret arrived at 7pm on the dot. Everyone was cheering. By then the line was already across the entire bookstore and then some. The line was moving at a reasonable speed and I got my chance to meet Bret by 7:40pm. I approached Bret and he said "Hi Bret" and he said "Hello", "I like your shirt; but not as much as mine". I said thank you and he signed my book and dvd set. He shook my hand and the Borders worker took our photo. He said "Thanks for coming" and I said "Thank You for everything Bret". He winked and I took my camera and left.

Overall Bret was a real class act. Almost everyone in line was talking about how tired he looked, which was no surprise to me. Borders said no action figures or title belts were allowed to be signed but Bret went ahead and signed some anyways, especially for the VERY young fans. Borders staff didnt say anything. That too me was very awesome of Bret.

I had a very memorable experience even though it felt like it only lasted 40 seconds, it was one of the highlights of the year for me. I also have nothing but good things to say about the Torrance, Ca Borders staff. Ive been to many signings there before and never had any problems.

Thanks again Bret!
