WMC Action News 5 – Memphis, Tennessee

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) –
Former WWE star Brian Lawler, also known as Brian Christopher, died Sunday afternoon, according to Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Lawler is the son of Memphis wrestling legend Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Brian Christopher was found hanging in his jail cell at the Hardeman County Jail, TBI said.

Corrections officers administered CPR until paramedics arrived, and he was taken to Regional Medical Center where he died Sunday afternoon.

Brian Christopher was 46 years old.

TBI is investigating his death.
