Brooke, whose long been Team Hulk throughout her parents’ ugly divorce, tells ET: “I cannot believe how blown out of proportion one small part of a 7-page article has become. It’s a classic case of a quote being taken out of context.”

The aspiring pop star adds: “I look up to my father in every way. He has been through so much and has taken the high road through it all. The idea that he would condone the OJ situation is just outrageous.”

One person who has no sympathy for Hogan is Linda. A rep Hulk’s ex tells the New York Post: “Linda and her family are taking these homicidal comments seriously. Her attorney, Ray Rafool, is weighing all options necessary to protect his client.”
