The wrestling buisness gets a bad rap, and this is what wrestling should be like.

Here is my take on the Killer Kowalski/Bruno Samartino signing:

I would just like to share with you how enjoyable this autograph signing was. I arrived at the venue about 10:15 am. I went inside to get my tickets to meet Bruno Samartino and Killer Kowalski. Let me say, the staff running the event were very considerate and friendly. I purchased my tickets, and realized that each ticket I purchased, came with a Certificate of Authenticity. The pictures they were selling were fantastic. There was a great picture of Bruno Samartino fighting Killer Kowalski at Fenway Park. I looked inside a door, and there were vendors set up. Good merchandise for sale!

At 10:30 sharp (The starting time) they started letting people in. I got into the signing room at 10:40. The set up was 2 tables, with the promoter sitting in between Killer and Bruno. The promoter was very nice, and he allowed people to get pictures, have conversations, etc.

The man in front of me asked Killer Kowalski a question. He said, " My mother remembers you wrestling in Long Island,New York. She said you bit some guy's ear off, is that true?"

Killer replied," Bulls**t. That was in Canada" This comment made Killer's wife say "That's not true Walter. You are a vegetarian."

Bruno was very friendly. He took a long time (Aproximatly 5-10 minutes) talking to a mentally challenged fan. He answered all his questions, and really made the kid's day.

The overall feeling of this autograph signing was very relaxed. The promoter did a good job controlling the line, but at the same point, made sure that the fans were meeting the wrestlers and getting an unforgettable experience.

This autograph signing is a model for what all autograph signings should be like. This was the best autograph signing I have ever been to. I hope the promoter does another signing soon. I will definitely be in attendance.
