 WPXI (Pittsburgh's NBC affiliate) will be running an hour long special on 6/25 at 9:00 PM on Bruno Sammartino titled "Secrets of a Survivor.": http://tinyurl.com/rdl7d . The bulk of the footage comes from the DVD "Behind the Championship Belt" and will look at the life of Sammartino from his childhood in Italy, his fear of the Nazi party, the illnesses that almost cost him his life, and his rise to fame as one of the most successful professional wrestlers of all time. It received a mention in Friday's Pittsburgh Post Gazette as well as television commercials on WPXI. Just wanted to send this if anyone is interested in watching or purchasing the DVD.

Channel 11's David Johnson and John Fedko recorded introductions and transitions for "Sammartino: Secrets of a Survivor" (9 p.m. Sunday, WPXI), the bulk of which comes from the Glyph Inc. Productions DVD release, "Behind the Championship Belt," available at www.brunobrunobruno.com.

The hour long program, which repeats at 10 p.m. Monday on PCNC, chronicles Sammartino's childhood in Italy, his family's move to America, his rise into wrestling and the many challenges he faced along the way."

I have seen these DVD's and if you're a Bruno Sammartino fan you don't want to miss these DVD's.  I told you about these DVD's months ago.  It's good that it is getting major media attention now.
