I have been told approximately 15 from the Office (Creative and Licensing) were released and Mr & Mrs. Dennis Brent are also gone. With the Brent's, I believe it has a lot to do with them returning to Texas. Dennis was in charge of third party bookings.
That is 40+ employees being released, the most since I have been following wrestling.
There is a Summer Slam commercial airing in several cable markets advertising the top matches for the PPV, which include:

John Cena Vs Edge (Since Matt Hardy came back, this was changed to Jericho vsCena)
