Hi Georgiann,
I wanted to share some news on how the Chris Benoit backlash has affected Jakks Pacific's WWE action figures.
Today I was at my local Wal-Mart and found the Ruthless Aggression Series 26 figures. There's really nothing special about the figures, but the back of the cards were either produced before June 25th or they were unable to stop the printing as Chris Benoit is shown as part of this series. However, Jakks has "carefully" covered the figures face and name with WWE stickers. I've attached pictures to show you how good of a job they've done to pretend Benoit no longer exists.
Also, Toys R Us now has 3 different exclusive 2 packs of Classic Superstars figures, all with a 4 Horseman theme. There's a Ric Flair (in a suit) with Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard with Arn Anderson (both in their satin ring jackets), and Dean Malenko with... Lex Luger?? Now in my opinion, this set was obviously supposed to be Malenko and Benoit, but after the deaths they just stuck Luger in there instead.
