CHRISTOPHER DANIELS BECOMES THE NEW RING OF HONOR WORLD CHAMPION

At the ROH 15th Anniversary PPV, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels fulfilled his destiny by capturing the ROH World Championship defeating Adam Cole in the main event. The 23-year veteran earned his championship opportunity by winning the Decade of Excellence tournament and pinned Cole to capture the title!
 
Daniels has been synonymous with ROH since its inception 15 years ago, competing in the main even of the very first Ring of Honor card, the Era of Honor begins. In his first ROH World Championship opportunity in six years, Daniels proved to be the Smartest Man in the Room finally capturing the championship gold that has eluded him. Daniels becomes ROH’s 22nd World Champion just under 15 years since he competed in a Fatal Fourway to establish the company’s very first champion at Crowing a Champion.
