 Randy Gust versus Tommy Jammer

The Beach Boys` song "Surfin` USA" played as Jammer sprinted to the ring, and hopped over the top rope. Gust got in Jammer`s face to say something that looked negative. Gust then slowly went for forearm strike, but Jammer avoided it, and planted Gust with an atomic drop.

Jammer nailed Gust with an off the ropes clothesline, then whipped him to the corner for a powerslam. Jammer then charged the ropes, and leaped up with a splash, hooked the leg and pinned Gust for 3. This match was under two minutes.

Spike Jones versus "Illustrious" Jonnie Stewart

Stewart pranced down the aisle to Technotronic`s song "Pump Up The Jam" He removed his silver glittered robe that read "Jonnie" in red sequins, to show off his trunks that stated "Spoiled Rotten" on the back.

When the match started, the nearly 300 lb. Spike shoved Stewart into the corner. A commentating Lee Marshall said that Spike looked like a phone booth, and his co-broadcaster Eric Bischoff, stated that Spike had impressive agility for his size.

Spike shoved Stewart into another corner, then picked him up for a bear hug. Stewart eye raked for an escape, clubbed and smashed Spike to the turnbuckle. Stewart landed an elbow, with left fist, and a sledgehammer blow.

After choking Spike on the top rope, Stewart executed a suplex roll, but Spike recovered to smash Stewart with his forearm. Stewart punched a cornered Spike in the stomach, but Spike placed Stewart in the corner for right fists.

Stewart is whipped to the opposite corner, and Spike took his time as he threatened to use his right fist. Stewart is punched, but reversed a corner whip, that had Spike crash chest first.

Away from referee Gary DeRousha`s view, Stewart stepped on the middle turnbuckle, and loaded his knee pad. Stewart then whipped Spike to the ropes and clocked him with a flying knee drive. Stewart laid his back on Spike as DeRousha counted the 3. This match was under three minutes.

At AWA studio, Eric Bischoff complained about the smell from the stew pot, that "Rock `N` Roll" Buck Zumhofe was stirring with a shovel. Zumhofe cut carrots into the pot, and when Bischoff asked what Zumhofe was doing, he said he was cooking up rat stew for Jonnie Stew Rat. Zumhofe then pulled out a toy rat from the pot.

Baron Von Raschke entered into frame displaying his claw hand. Baron said that he liked the recipe, but it needed a little more spice. Baron said that he planned to slice and dice up The Texas Hangmen to add to the stew. Baron laughed as he displayed The Claw, and Buck smiled, as they walked off screen.

 Tom Burton versus Sgt. Slaughter

Sarge walked around ringside, shaking hands and saluting fans. Lee Marshall mentioned that major wrestling publications such as Pro Wrestling Illustrated and Wrestling Fury had touted Tom Burton as an up and coming contender, so this match would not be a walk in the park for the Sarge.

Marshall that Sarge needed a win, because of his loss to AWA world champion "Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko in Guam and Hawaii. The match began, and Sarge pushed off Burton in a lock-up. Sarge backed Burton to the corner, but Burton turned him around for a forearm club.

Burton headlocked Sarge, and rubbed his face along the top rope. Burton continued his assault with a gut punch, turnbuckle smashed Sarge twice, but a slap to the chest on the cornered Sarge was a wake-up.

Sarge turned Burton around in the corner, and clubbed him. Burton is corner whipped and knocked down by Sarge`s running back elbow. Sarge whipped his foe for a back body drop, then grabbed his wrist, dropping him with a short-arm clothesline.

At the studio, Eric Bischoff stood in front of a graphic of a demolished building, as he interviewed AWA world tag team champions "Mean" Mike Enos & Wayne "The Train" Bloom of The Destruction Crew (a.k.a. Minnesota Wrecking Crew II in WCW & Beverly Brothers in WWE).

Bischoff directed a question to Enos, about the sports writers documenting a tremndous amount of dissension amont The Crew and the Texas Hangmen on Larry Zbyszko`s Legends team. Bischoff also brought up that the new team of D.J. Peterson and The Trooper were looking for a title shot.

Enos answered with "who cares what they want?!", but before he could continue, Bloom chimed in with "wait a second, I`ll handle this one, Mike" Bloom said that as far as his team was concerned, they do not have a problem with anyone.

Enos began to talk, and Bloom cut in again, saying he would handle it. Bloom said that the AWA promoters throw everyone at them, and although Peterson and Trooper were good in their own right, but their team was unproven for title contention.

Bloom said that his team would not consider taking just challengers, but would face any winning team, from any organization. Blooms warned though that getting to him and Enos, would "be on a path to destruction"

Bloom said he would prove that right now, with the clowns they faced coming up next.

Kent Carlson & Tom Bennett versus AWA world tag team champions "Mean" Mike Enos & Wayne "The Train" Bloom of the Destruction Crew.

The Crew talked to the ring, carrying sledgehammers, as Queen`s song "We Will Rock You" played. Enos was having a neagtive excahnge of words with the crowd, and then a weird clip showing a crowd at the Showboat Sports Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada aired for a moment.

In the ring, Enos sat on the middle rope, to invite in those he was arguing with. Enos kneed Carlson in the corner, and Carlson reversed the corner whip. Carlson charged and was brought down by Enos` boot.

Carlson was whipped to the ropes for a powerslam, pin covered, but Enos lifted Carlson off the mat at 2. Carlson was Irish whipped to the ropes for a clothesline, then hoisted over Enos` shoulder, as a tagged Bloom leaped off with a flying forearm on Carlson`s chest.

This flipped Carlson face down to the canvas. Bloom threw Carlson`s into Bennett`s, who was standing on the ring apron. Bloom gut wrench suplexed Carlson and stomped him. A seated Carlson felt the knee of Bloom to his back, and faced the crowd, as he was placed on the top turnbuckle

A tagged Eno then stood on the middle rope, and back suplexed Carlson to the mat. Lee Marshall kept saying "the match is over", and wondered why The Crew would not for for the pin. Carlson was then lifted up by Enos` shoulders, and Bloom flew off the top rope, flipping Carlson with a clothesline (ala Road Warriors` Doomsday Device).

Though referee Gary DeRousha waiver the AWA rules against the first double team move off the top rope, he signaled for the bell on the second, awarding the match by disqualification to Kent Carlson and Tom Bennett. This match was under four minutes.

Referee DeRousha sat on the top turnbuckle and come off showing a clothesline, demonstrating to an upset Destruction Crew, the reasons for the disqualification.

WT told Marshall that he was making him look bad to his people on Eastern Street, and Marshall told him to get over it.

The match began, and Trooper took WT to the mat with an arm drag, then with a fireman`s carry takeover. A frustrated WT stomped the mat, and applied a headlock on The Trooper. WT was pushed off into the ropes, hopped over Trooper, who ducked down twice, and was flipped to the mat by a Trooper hip toss.

Trooper arm dragged WT to the mat, maintaining an arm bar, and using his right knee to pressure WT`s face. WT used an eye rake to escape and yelled "shut up!" when referee Gary DeRousha warned him about that illegal tactic.

WT smashed Trooper to the turnbuckle, and clubbed him. Trooper reversed a corner whip, but WT moved, and Trooper crashed to the buckles. WT stomped and dropped two elbows, gaining a count of 1 on a pin cover.

WT sledgehammer strikes, but Trooper has WT fly backward to the mat, from a knockdown right fist. WT is Irish whipped for a high dropkick, then whipped for a back body drop, before Trooper raised his arms to signal The Big Pinch finisher.

Trooper cinched the grip into WT`s neck, and referee DeRousha checked the arm five time before, ringing the bell for a Trooper submission win. This match was under four minutes. Trooper went to the corner to get his clipboard, stepped on WT`s chest, as he wrote out a citation stating "Liberty and Justice for All" Trooper sat up WT and slapped him on the back, waking him.
