Todd Becker versus AWA world champion Larry Zbyszko

Zbyszko complained to the referee about the "Larry sucks!" chant, tells the crowd "shut up!" and threatened to walk out. Zbyszko stalls by going back to yell at the fans. Commentators Lee Marshall and Ralph Strangis spoke about Zbyszko antics as being apart of playing mind games on Becker. Zbyszko lulled Becker into thinking there would be a lock-up, but backs off.

Becker`s guard was down when Zbyszko went to complain about the fans, and Becker was eye gouged. From a snap mare, Zbyszko hopped up and came down raking Becker`s face with his boots that bared the "Z" letter.

Becker was covered for a pin after a suplex and backbreaker, but Zbyszko picked Becker up at the count of 2. Zbyszko then drilled Becker into the mat withy a piledriver, covered him for the 3 count, and closed the match in under four minutes.

Eric Bischoff mentioned the dissension in Sarge`s Snipers team, as Sgt. Slaughter wanted to trade his arch enemy Col. DeBeers. Bischoff explained that Sarge was desperate to trade DeBeers for anyone or anything. Bischoff felt that DeBeers would be a difficult trade, as DeBeers said he was worth his weight in gold to the team.

In solo comments, Col. DeBeers said that the 1980`s had seen governments fall, while South Africa remained strong and will continue to into 2000. DeBeers revealed that he planned to not only remain on the team, but take over as the new team captain.

DeBeers then spoke about his upcoming match with Yukon John Nord in the "One Arm Bandit" match. DeBeers said that although Yukon had been learning the ways of the wild and becoming logging camp champion in one armed wrestling, that he would be better than an army in stopping Yukon. DeBeers said that he would collect on Sheik Adnan El Kassey`s bounty against Yukon.

John Nord then gave comments about his experience of becoming king of the Yukon lumberjacks. Nord spoke of a man called Ol` River who smelled like old whiskey and needed a shave. River told him that there were three types of people, those that make it happen, those that wtach it happen and those that wonder what the heck happened.

Nord said that DeBeers and Sheik Adnan fall into the wonder what happened category, adding that his trusty ax Bertha hadn`t failed him yet. Nord then assured DeBeers that he would be in for a long match, then howled.

Bischoff then receives a letter from AWA president Joe Blanchard, that he will not allow Col. DeBeers to be traded from Sarge`s Snipers.

DeBeers was accompanied by Sheik Adnan El Kassey carrying a briefcase of money, as Guns "N" Roses "Welcome to the Jungle" plays. Yukon John carried his ax Bertha, and howling, entered the ring to Creedence Clearwater Revival`s "Bad Moon Rising"

Lee Marshall announced the rules in the ring, as simply being a match where one arm will be incapacitated. The official for inside the ring was referee Gary DeRousha, and he tied DeBeers left arm behind his back. Yukon`s left arm was tied behind his back by the outside official. Yukon howls and makes Sheik Adnan back away

DeBeers doesn`t quite budge Yukon on his charge, but Yukon charges back and brings DeBeers down to the mat. Yukon reverses DeBeers wristlock, then knife edge chops him. After an exchange, DeBeers is chopped down to a seated position in the corner.

DeBeers gets Yukon to one knee with kicks to the stomach, and DeBeers gets body slammed, when he is unable to get Yukon up for a slam. Yukon forearm clubs DeBeers and whips him to the ropes for a back body drop, and gets a pin count of 2 on a cover.

DeBeers reaches up and grabs a handful of Yukon`s hair, to hold him for a leg scissors strike to the head. Yukon brings his foot to the top turnbuckle to prevent DeBeers` corner smash, then turnbuckle smashes DeBeers and kicks him in his mid-section.

After another turnbuckle smash, DeBeers falls face first to the canvas. Yukon covers him, but DeBeers breaks the pin count at 2, when he gets his foot on the bottom rope. DeBeers rakes Yukon`s eye, kicks him in the stomach and punched him against the ropes.

Yukon comes back by whipping DeBeers to the ropes for a flying shoulder tackle. Nord covered and got a 2 count. DeBeers slammed Yukon`s head into the mat, but Yukon blocked DeBeer`s next try and smashed DeBeers` head into the mat.

Yukon`s off the ropes boot takes DeBeers to the floor, where Sheik Adnan loosens the rope that restrained DeBeers` left arm. On his return to the ring, DeBeers is clubbed and tied up in the ropes.

Yukon charges back for another off the ropes boot to the face, but DeBeers moves, and Yukon goes sailing over the top rope. Both DeBeers and Sheik Adnan attack Yukon, closing the match after four minutes with a disqualification on DeBeers.

Yukon took their clubs, breathed heavy and shook, before clubbing back at them. Yukon then rammed DeBeers` and Sheik Adnan`s heads together, and chased them out of the ring. Yukon walked around the ring throwing high boot strikes.

Outside the ring, DeBeers said in Bischoff`s microphone that he wanted Sheik Adnan to give him the money. Sheik Adnan took the briefcase of money away, saying that he knew DeBeers could do the job, but did not want to hand of the money until he finished Yukon`s career in wrestling.

Sgt. Slaughter came to ringside, tapped DeBeers on the shoulder and DeBeers was told that he was a let down to the Sarge`s Snipers team in his loss to Jake "Milkman" Milliman in the Turkey match, and the disqualification from the match he just had with Yukon.

Sarge was further disappointed with DeBeers` alliance with Sheik Adnan, referring to The Sheik as scum and slime. Sarge said that he would find a way to get DeBeers off his team, but DeBeers hit Sarge with the suitcase, when Sarge turned around to head back to the locker rooms.

DeBeers and Adnan kicked at Sarge, then ran away when they saw Sarge was about to retaliate. Sarged yelled to Bischoff that he will get DeBeers, if it`s the last thing he does.

Jake "Milkman" Milliman & Todd Becker versus Killer & Psycho of the Texas Hangmen

Commentators Lee Marshall and Ralph Strangis spoke again about the Hangmen being identical, and claimed that the one distinguishing aspect of that elbow bad on the left arm, would be changed between wrestlers to confuse. Marshall and Strangis said that the Hangmen were in dispute of AWA new rules that made it illegal for top rope moves on an elevated opponent.

Psycho kneed Becker in the stomach, forearm clubbed him down, then picked him up for a body slam. A tagged Milliman crawled quickly under Psycho`s legs, and mocked Psycho`s yell with the raised arm. Milliman displays impressive strength when he scooped up the over 300 lb Hangmen for a powerslam.

Milliman covered for the pin, but quickly got off to avoid Killer`s kick that accidently hit Psycho. Milliman then rolled up Psycho, and got a pin count of 1. Milliman held Psycho`s arm for a tagged Becker`s flying strike from the middle rope. Psycho whipped Becker off the arm bar, and Killer strikes Becker, as he hits the ropes.

Psycho held Becker for a tagged Killer rib punch. Becker is powerslammed, given a spinning neckbreaker and clubbed in the corner. As Killer then goes to the corner to call out Milliman, Psycho choked Becker in the corner with the Hangemn bullrope.

Becker was kicked in the corner, then driven down with a Killer DDT. Becker is then Irish whipped for a belly to belly suplex. Killer then holds Becker under his arm, and a tagged Psycho comes off the middle ropes with a flying forearm drive, as Killer side slams Becker. Psycho covers and gets the 3 count, ending the match in under four minutes.

In post match interview at ringside, Bischoff congratulated the Hangmen`s success in the Team Challenge Series. Bischoff mentioned rumors that there may be a trade to split up the team, and Psycho said there was no chance. Killer then said that the Hangmen were wild Texas Brama bulls, looking down the road for further success, and no one would get in their way.

On the Team Challenge Series Update, Lee Marshall mentioned that The Trooper (WWF`s Patriot) undefeated streak had gain 11 points and motivation for Baron Von Raschke`s Blitzers. Marshall said that before the series started, Baron was not the chosen favorite among many making predictions.

The chosen favorite in Sarge`s Sniper were in last place, and plagued by the Slaughter and DeBeers grudge. The scoreboard showed Baron`s Blitzers at 22, Larry Zbyszko`s Legends at 15 and Sarge`s Snipers put two point to tie at 15.

In a backstage interview, "Hard Rock" Paul Diamond thanked the fans for requesting the AWA world tag team title match for Diamond and the Trooper to face champions Wayne Bloom and Mike Enos of the Destruction Crew.

Diamond told Bischoff that his team was ready, and Trooper said that his team would beat the Destruction Crew again to take the belts this time. Trooper then promised law and order in the ring this time.

For a response, AWA world tag team champions Wayne Bloom & Mike Enos stood in front of a graphic showing a destroyed building. Bloom said that the AWA had done everything in their power to distract them, to try make them lose their championships.

Bloom said that The Crew already beat Diamond and Trooper fair and square. Bloom then spoke about former NFL defensive end Bob Lurtsema as a special enforcer referee. Bloom said that Lurtsmea didn`t know diddly squat about wrestling, and warned to look over his shoulder, because Bloom may be coming for him.

"Hard Rock" Paul Diamond & The Trooper representing Baron Von Raschke`s Blitzers versus AWA world tag team champions Wayne "The Train" Bloom & "Mean" Mike Enos of The Destruction Crew representing Larry Zbyszko`s Legends in a Team Challenge Series match.

Accompanied by team leader AWA world champion "Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko, Bloom and Enos walked to the ring carrying sledgehammers to the tune of Queen`s "We Will Rock You" Diamond and Trooper then came to the ring, to the tune of "The Final Countdown" by Europe. "Benchwarmer" Bob Lurtsema served as referee, and hair pulled back Bloom to explain what is illegal.

Bloom and Enos attack before the starting bell. Bloom body slammed Diamond and Eno body slammed Trooper. The Destruction Crew then kicked their opponents in the corner, but Diamond and Trooper reversed the whips out of the corner, causing The Crew to collide. Diamond and Trooper ducks the swings to atomic drop The Crew, and superkick them out of the ring.

Diamond and Trooper put on The Crew`s vests to mock them. Then they tried to rally with the fans by clapping and stomping for the Bloom and Enos to return to the ring. After the bell, Enos return to land a running kick into Diamond. Diamond ducks a clothesline and upper cuts Enos three times before dropping him.

Diamond then ran and punched Bloom off the ring apron. A tagged Trooper then assists Diamond with a double back body drop on Enos. Enos ducks Trooper`s clothesline, and comes off the ropes with a flying cross body. Trooper caught Enos in mid-air, body slamed him and got 2 on a pin cover.

Trooper then held Enos for a tagged Diamond punch. Diamond snapmared Enos, and punched him down. A dazed Enos goes to tag in the wrong corner, and Trooper tags Enos` head with a right fist. Enos then punches Enos down and gets a 2 on a cover.

Commentators Marshall and Strangis mention that Lurtsema is counting the pins fast. Enos reverses a whip in the corner, charges down Diamond, but it takes a major toll on Enos. A tagged Bloom body slammed Diamond, but got punched in the stomach when flying off the middle rope.

Diamond then whipped Bloom to the ropes for a stomach punch, then whipped Bloom to the ropes for a tagged Trooper powerslam. In getting Diamond back to his corner, Lurtsema didn`t see right away that Trooper had Bloom covered for the pin. Lurtsema was slow to get down, and was only able to make a count of 1 on the pin.

Trooper applied a chinlock to the seated Bloom, as Marshall mentioned Bloom`s accomplisment of being a three time world powerlifting champion. Enos and Bloom take turns choking Trooper on the rope, but when Bloom whipped Trooper for a back body drop, Trooper came back witha akick to the head.

A tagged Enos ax handled Trooper in the back, resulting in an exchange of fists. Trooper is knocked down, but suplexed Enos, after Eno was unable to perform that move.
A tagged Diamond punched Bloom off the apron, then whipped Eno for a hangman`s clothesline and covered for a pin count of 2 before Bloom pulled him off.

Diamond then whipped Enos for a tagged Trooper back body drop, and Trooper covered for another 2 count. Trooper got an inside cradle roll-up, but Lurtsema is slow to get down for the pin and Enos kicked out before a count. Trooper had front face chancery on Enos for a tagged Diamond uppercut. Diamond then nailed Enos with a superkick. Bloom enters to ax handle Diamond, preventing him from suplexing Enos.

Enos hoisted up Diamond onto his shoulder, as Bloom mounted the top rope for a clothesline to execute their illegal Wrecking Ball finisher. Lurtsema caught this soon enough to push Enos.

This released Diamond, and Bloom`s flying clothesline resulted in a crash to the canvas. Zbyszko went into the ring, and took Lurtsema to the mat with a yank of the shoulders.
After an exchange of fist among all four participants, Lurtsema clotheslined Enos.

Diamond and Trooper then double whipped Zbyszko to the ropes, but Zbyszko held on and exited the ring. Diamond and Trooper won by disqualification in this over seven minute match.

In the post match interview at ringisde, Lurtsema told Bischoff that The Destruction Crew rely heavily on disqualifications in order to keep the championships. Lurtsema said that as he was concerned Diamond and Trooper deserve to be the champions.

Diamond complimented Lurtsema on doing a great job, and said that it looks like the only way to punish these criminals is behind bars. So Diamond issued a challenge to The Destruction Crew for a steel cage match for the AWA world tag team titles. Trooper said "let`s get in there and settle this once and for all"
