CM PUNK OUT! – Who will team with Julio Dinero to defend the NWA Cyberspace Tag Team Titles?

As speculated over the last 10 days, CM Punk has officially notified NWA CS officials that he will be unable to appear at the June 25^th No Gimmicks Needed event, where he was scheduled to defend his newly won NWA CS Tag Titles with partner Julio Dinero.

“It’s a great disappointment to both the fans and the Cyberspace office”, said owner Billy Firehawk upon receiving the news. “We wish CM Punk the best of luck in the WWE and will always leave the door open for him to return”.

“As for the tag team championship situation”, continued Firehawk, “I will give Julio Dinero full authority to decide how he chooses to either forfeit or defend the titles on June 25^th.” Dinero was unavailable for comment.

CM Punk is scheduled to make his final indy appearance in Florida for the Ring of Honor sister promotion on June 25^th. He respectfully approached NWA CS management and asked if he could accept the booking as a final farewell in the ring that made him a household name. NWA Cyberspace wishes him the best of luck and looks forward to seeing him on WWE programming.

The stars will shine on Saturday night, but none will shine brighter than our brother Chris Candido, as he looks down to watch the mega event dedicated to his legacy – No Gimmicks Needed 2005.

Matches Announced For No Gimmicks Needed 2005 – Saturday June 25^th

NWA CS HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH

Jeff Jarrett vs. Michael Shane

*Abyss will be in Jarrett’s corner / Tracy Brooks will be in Shane’s corner

***Jeff Jarrett makes his first NWA Cyberspace title defense against Michael Shane, who has finally made it to the main event and will face off against the Jeff Jarrett for the first time in his career! Will he fill the shoes of a familiar “main eventer and showstopper”? Or will the Heavyweight champion look to spoil Shane’s rise to the top and sing a different tune!  With the corner’s make the final decision as each man comes equipped with an insurance policy? It all comes to a head on Saturday night!***

GRUDGE MATCH

Slyck Wagner Brown vs. Rodney Mack

***Rodney Mack has been nothing but a dark cloud over the head of former champion Slyck Wagner Brown.  Odd how two men with such similar backgrounds have found themselves so far apart in difference. While Brown prepares to climb back to the top of the Cyberspace mountain,  Mack awaits him with a devastating boot that has sent many before him to the hospital with concussions. On June 25^th, the boys from the hood lock up for the first time and look to break the color barriers.

UNSANCTIONED LAST MAN STANDING MATCH

Abyss vs. Mana

***The third and final battle between Cyberspace’s most ferocious monsters comes to an end in an unsanctioned Last man Standing match. After an off the charts perfomance in their first encounter, and blood soaked follow up in the much discussed dog-collar match, these savage animals will bring the war to an end in match expected to be too brutal that Cyberspace officials refuse to take responsibility for the final outcome. Both beasts have stated that they will use any means to keep each other from answering the 10 count.

***PLEASE BE WARNED*** - this match is expected to exploit pure hardcore violence. NWA Cyberspace is not sanctioning this match and is not responsible for any nightmares the fans may incur for the rest of their lives!!!

NWA CS INTERNET TITLE MATCH

Josh Daniels vs. Mike Kruel

***They tried to be partners. They tried to be friends. On June 25^th, they will prove to the world that they are better off as bitter rivals. In one of the most anticipated title matches in Cyberspace history, two of the most technically sound athletes will collide in a match sure to test the laws of mat science. Since joining the Youngbludz, Kruel has developed an arrogant swagger to his “vanilla” persona, while Daniels moves forward to escalate his championship reign and silence the critics.

NWA CS TAG TEAM TITLE REMATCH

The Solution vs. Julio Dinero & ????

***We’ve heard the news: CM Punk is out – but who is in? Will Julio Dinero forfeit his newly won tag team titles? Will he find another partner? Or has the stage been set for The Solution to walk away 2-time tag team champions?

NWA CS CRUISER-X TITLE 4 WAY ELIMINATION

Sonjay Dutt vs. Chris Hamrick vs. Sharkboy vs. Nick Berk

***Cruiser-X champion Sonjay Dutt has started a fire in Elix Skipper that he may not be able to extinguish, but has done a hell of a job trying to avoid. In yet another attempt to metaphorically spit in the face of Skipper, Dutt has chosen to defend the title against three other worthy competitors in one night, rather than give Elix a one on one opportunity. Although Dutt may be looking to issue the ultimate insult, he may have very well issued his own death warrant. The “shark” is out for blood. The “southern boy” is out for a lynching. And Nick Berk is….looking for another concussion?  A 4 way elimination is sure to be more than he bargained for. 

NWA CS WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH

April Hunter vs. Jazz

***Like their other halves… April and Jazz are on a collision course. The only difference is that this match isn’t just about black and white…it’s about GOLD! The women’s championship is on the line and two of the most gifted female athletes on the scene today will lock up for a match that will prove that the women’s division is strong and bitchin’!

Matt Striker vs. Elix Skipper

***Rather than suspend Striker for his  vile actions at Shockwave, promoter Billy Firehawk has decided to let the leader of the Youngbludz compete in a quality match, in hopes of teaching the young star that he is not bigger than this business.  While Striker deals with his personal vendetta against the promoter, Elix Skipper is out to earn the recognition of number one contender for the cruiser-x title, forcing Sonjay Dutt to put up or shut up. 

SAT vs. All Money is Legal

***As the tag team division continues to grow, two teams will battle for a chance to get closer to a date with the champions.
