This week I was in Martinsburg, West Virginia to be with Jimmy Valiant for a CPW show. Jimmy was part of a tag team match and did a great job of getting the crowd fired up.
While I spent most of the time with Jimmy I got to meet a new friend in Maestro. He was a heel in his match against Patriot and was believable which speaks a lot to his talent because outside the ring he came off as appreciative, classy, genuine and any other positive statements that can be said.
This was a family friendly event and all the kids seemed to be having a blast. One wrestler was doing face painting and I saw a lot of kids with their face painted and the Patriot was giving out American flags to the kids.
