IN BURLINGTON, NC FOR HUGE TV TAPING!!
CWF MID-ATLANTIC TV TAPING THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 22nd, IN BURLINGTON, NC FOR HUGE TV TAPING!*** TRACY SMOTHERS CLAIMS HE WILL DETHRONE RIC CONVERSE THIS
SATURDAY FOR THE AWA MID-ATLANTIC HWT. CHAMPIONSHIP!
CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington,
NC this Saturday, April 22nd, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a
full card of great action! All bouts are sanctioned by the AWA, the
American Wrestling Association.
We got the right temperature again this weekend, air-conditioned
cold in the arena and red hot in the ring! And what could be hotter
than the main event, for the AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight
Championship? "Slick Diddy" Ric Converse will defend against "The
Wild-Eyed Southern Boy" Tracy Smothers!
No one knows for sure just who has paid to bring Smothers in to
challenge Converse. Smothers sent in a video (available for
download in the news section at www.cwfmidatlantic.com) trashing
Converse, the fans in Burlington, the AWA, JBL, and even Vince
McMahon! A lot of people are speculating that the new Dynasty are
the ones responsible but so far they haven't made that claim. Tracy
Smothers did state to the CWF Mid-Atlantic office that it would be
made perfectly clear who paid him to take out Ric Converse on
Saturday night. Commissioner Cross is still fuming from the
comments made by Smothers on what he plans to do with the Mid-
Atlantic Title belt when he wins it. Watch the video to find out!!!
Another issue that is burning, is the Lumpkin Management Group Inc.
and former client Tank Lawson. Cornelius J. Lumpkin III has new
Arab investors in LMG Inc. and recently conducted an interview with
Grant Sawyer (now available for viewing in the news section).
Lumpkin has also issued a statement that Tank Lawson is going pay
this weekend for his stupidity. Lumpkin has been flounting his new
found wealth, with a pocketful of hundred dollar bills and hand-
rolled Cuban cigars, the boastful president of LMG Inc. could be in
for more trouble than he thinks from the powerful Tank Lawson who
backs down from no one!
It will be another wild Saturday night at the air-conditioned
Carolina Sports Arena as The $outh$ide Playas will answer
the "Titles versus Valet" challenge issued by the tag team
champions, Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens & "A Very Handsome Man"
Mitch Connor.
