QPW SuperSlam 2 Moves To New Luxurious Venue

Qatar Pro Wrestling’s SuperSlam 2 has grown in momentum and scope by the week, so much so that we have outgrown our arena! The Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena, which played host to the inaugural QPW SuperSlam back in 2017, will no longer be the home of SuperSlam 2. Instead, we head to the Lusail Sports Arena, just outside of Doha to present the biggest QPW event to date! The Lusail Sports Arena is a beautiful facility that can hold up to 15,000 excited fans! Things continue to grow in QPW, and whether you’re there in person, or watching live on FITE, SuperSlam 2 will be a can’t-miss experience.

Davey Boy Smith Jr Added To SuperSlam 2 Card!

While we strive to always deliver everything advertised at QPW, sometimes outstanding circumstances prevent that. Rich Swann, originally scheduled to take part in the event, has been unfortunately forced to withdraw, due to an ankle injury that needed to be surgically repaired this past week. We wish Rich a quick and full recovery and hope to see him in Qatar very soon. However, QPW is committed to always delivering the best, so a replacement was quickly sought after and signed – the one and only Davey Boy Smith Jr! Son of the iconic British Bulldog, DBS grew up in professional wrestling, not just through his father, but his aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents as part of the legendary Hart Family in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Davey’s striking size and lethal technical skill have made him a force across the world, be it studying under legends like Billy Robinson, or scoring championship victories across Japan. From his time in WWE as part of The Hart Dynasty to his present day success as an international commodity, perhaps no one lives and breathes wrestling quite as much as Davey Boy Smith Jr. and we are honored to have him at QPW SuperSlam 2!

QPW SuperSlam 2 Main Event: QPW Champion Alberto El Patron vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Raaber vs. Alofa!

Your main event has been signed for February 21 live in Qatar and across the world on FITE, and it will be for the top prize in the Middle East – the QPW World Title! Alberto El Patron made history at the inaugural SuperSlam in 2017 when he defeated Chris Raaber to capture the gold! Now, Raaber is back looking for retribution, but he’s not alone! Rob Van Dam is no stranger to gold, having become perhaps the only man to ever hold the WWE, ECW, and Impact World Titles in his career. RVD would love to add the QPW World Title to his collection. Meanwhile, Alofa is as tough as they come, whose past QPW battles have included the likes of Brian Cage and John Morrison, and even garnered the attention of “The Icon” Sting! Four athletes will converge, representing four different areas and backgrounds with one goal – the ultimate prize of the QPW World Title in SuperSlam 2!
