Sure, WWE superstars are menacing in the ring. But what happens when they square off against one another on an Xbox 360?

A host of WWE talent -- including World Heavyweight Champion Batista, ECW Champion Bobby Lashley and WWE Diva Ashley -- will engage in a virtual battle royal when they participate in the 5th annual THQ Superstar Challenge, March 29 at the Gem Theatre in Detroit. The Superstars will go head to head playing "WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2007," three days before they get it on for real at WrestleMania 23 April 1 at Ford Field.

Tickets for the event go on sale Thursday at the Gem Theatre box office and cost $17.50. The event will also feature a performance by Florida rockers Nonpoint.

Other wrestlers scheduled to participate in the Superstar Challenge include Jeff Hardy, Carlito, Johnny Nitro, Melina, Mickie James, Kenny Dykstra, Chavo Guerrero, Mr. Kennedy, Montel Vontavious Porter ("M.V.P."), CM Punk, Kelly Kelly, Tommy Dreamer and Matt Striker. Each star will compete as himself in the four-round tournament.

Four-time THQ Superstar Challenge champ Shelton Benjamin is not scheduled to participate, but talent is subject to change.
