  Devious Diva Interview…

A few months ago you declined an offer from TNA, why did you do that even though your one of the original knockouts?

I didn't want to. It's just that I told them I could only be a manager with the injuries I've accumulated. What they offered was a wrestling position...and then they wanted me to get medical clearance from my own doctor and sign a waiver. I had to decline. I've spent a lot of time rehabbing my injuries; I really don't want to end up in that situation again. Especially for TNA money, which isn't much.

What was it like training with the late Killer Kowalski?

Awesome. I suddenly realized how lucky I was when I started traveling and working with others, I was light years ahead of them...you can always tell a Kowalski student. He was a really sweet man, too. I liked him a lot.

Back in 2005-2007 you were a tag team with Talia Madison (TNA's Velvet Sky) what was that experience like? FUN! We had a total blast. I know there are some matches online. I have some on my site, too. (AprilHunter.com) Our main problem was that promoters didn't want to pay 4 girls on a show...so we didn't get many quality opponents. We'd travel 8 hours to an Indy only to find out we'd have to work each other, that the promoter had a cancellation (or just never hired other girls to start with.)

Later on in 2008, you decided to retire from pro wrestling what made you make that decision? Injuries. Hurting isn't fun at all.

On New Year's Eve 2009 you were on TNA Wrestling, what was that like? Against my better judgment, I did that show and it was incredible for me. I had a taste of what I'd been missing by not completely making it to the top. I wish I could have done more in that realm.

What do you enjoy more Fitness Modeling or Wrestling? Fitness modeling. I think fitness is the future, especially with so many battling obesity. I also don't get beat up with fitness modeling...a huge plus!

Can you tell us more about your photography business? It's more a hobby for me right now. I do portraits of things that I think are interesting and the pictures are often put out there more than I thought they'd be. I love working with black and white photography. To me, that's the real deal. If you can take all the color out of an image and it's still very captivating.

What has been your favorite promotion to work for and why? Any that pay me!

If you got an offer from WWE to be hired, would you take it? Probably, but I'd have to have a limited role, like a manager or talent scout. I'd love to be a talent scout or agent. I think I'm more suited to that.

What can we expect from you in the future? Well, after 4 years I just cleaned out my closet, so anything's possible right now! Here's what's coming up: I think I'll be competing in Fitness/Figure for the Arnold Classic in Ohio after Christmas...I am playing celebrity poker & doing a fitness appearance for charity in October at the Taj Mahal...headed to France in November for the big AWR wrestling tour…I have a few more comic books coming out soon and a few cool appearances on some horror conventions...Um, just see more on www.AprilHunter.com. I do it myself, send out free weekly newsletters and anything coming up will be sent right to you directly.

Oh! ps. I’ll be doing a neat little sexy countdown to Halloween thing on http://www.Twitter.com/AprilHunter for those that follow me, starting Oct 13th.

Do you have a message for your wonderful fans out there? Stay wonderful! Oh, and well behaved women rarely make history.

- Kisses! April xoxo
