June 11th: One of the goals of Dragon Gate USA is to showcase promising talent and help promote quality, reputable independent companies. DGUSA was quick to enter a working agreement with CHIKARA, which will pay benefits to the fans on the very first DGUSA event on 7/25 in Philly with the eight man CHIKARA showcase match. Now DGUSA will partner with two more cutting edge promotions.

AAW has risen as one of the finest organizations with a mix of top indy stars and upcoming talent showcasing a variety of styles. AAW is "professional wrestling redefined" and you can go to www.AAWrestling.com for more info. AAW will have its next show tomorrow night at its homebase of the Berwyn Eagles Club, just outside of Chicago in Berwyn, IL. The event will feature an eight team tournament. June 10th: Dragon Gate USA has signed former original ECW star & WWE Diva Dawn Marie to be your "Live Event Hostess" for both 7/25 in Philadelphia and 9/6 in Chicago. July 25th will be Dawn Marie's return to live pro wrestling events after having her second child. Dawn Marie will be available for autographs at both events in addition to hosting the live cards.

This is also the beginning of a relationship between DGUSA and Wrestler's Rescue, a charitable organization founded by Dawn Marie. Wrestler's Rescue has a mission to raise money to help retired wrestlers with health care needs. Wrestler's Rescue is currently conducting a "Dr. Death Campaign" to raise money for a "hands-free" voice box for the legendary "Dr. Death" Steve Williams. You can now purchase raffle tickets to win an autographed Jim Ross cowboy hat, donated by JR himself, to help Steve Williams. Go to www.WrestlersRescue.org for details and other auctions. June 9th: DGUSA is very happy to announce that Open The Dream Gate Champion Naruki Doi & Masato Yoshino of the World-1 faction have been added to the September 6th DGUSA event in Chicago. The show will be at the famous Congress Theater, which is right off the CTA Blue Line and I-90/94 Kennedy Expressway (www.CongressChicago.com for more info on this Second City registered landmark). First row tickets sold out in a day, but you can still get 2nd and 3rd row Golden Circle seats in the www.DGUSA.tv Store. June 5th: CHIKARA announced today that Icarus will join Gran Akuma as half of the rudo team in the eight man tag scheduled for July 25th at the DGUSA debut event in Philly (tickets now on sale in the www.DGUSA.tv Store section). What makes this announcement really interesting is that we now know that Icarus & Gran Akuma of F.I.S.T. will oppose Fire Ant & Soldier Ant of The Colony as part of the eight man bout. Icarus teamed with F.I.S.T. stablemate Chuck Taylor to battle The Colony at last month's "Aniversario Yang" event in an epic double hair vs. double mask match (DVD has just been released at SmartMarkVideo.com).

"I was fortunate to be in attendance at Aniversario Yang," DGUSA VP Gabe Sapolsky said. "The crowd reactions to the main event reminded me of the glory days of ECW in The Arena. It's a match worth going out of your way to see. We are thrilled to have F.I.S.T. and The Colony fight again in the eight man tag on our July 25th debut event."
