…..

Georgie,

Today I got the chance to meet the Legendary Ric Flair. I knew It was going to be backed so that is why James and I got up at 400AM.  We got in to NYC around 530am.  Then we met up with Alex and his Uncle around 7am.  When we got the pier at 7:30, there were about 20-30 people. They Let us in the mall at around 10am.
Here is where it gets interesting.  Once we got in. there was a designated route we had to follow.  Well, some over anxious fans decided to take an alternate route and cut in front of a lot of people. Once at the fan Axxcess area, we waited around for another hr to get our bracelets.   When we were allowed to enter the area, we made out way to the stage where Flair would be appearing.  Hillbilly Jim was there hosting the Event.  Hillbilly Jim signed my friends wrestling album and I was able to get a picture with him.
When the Axxcess area was open to the public, everyone made their way to the stage. People who did not have a wristband, tried to push their way in.  Since Flair is a huge draw, they should have done something to remedy the situation. Flair came out at 12:20pm and the place went bananas (to quote gorilla monsoon).  They checked people who had wristbands and allowed then to get one item signed.  I got Flair to sign my WWE Championship DVD Inlay (which now makes 16 champs). My friend Alex got my NWA Heavyweight Championship belt Signed for me.  Flair is a true Class Act I thanked him for all the years of entertaining he replied "No, thank you. Without you I would not be here." Then he extended his hand and I got a chance to shake it. It was well worth it.
