=====================================================================

*On the heels of WrestleMania 23, Diana was very excited to join The Big Mosh, Blade, & The Angry Hero, and was very pleased to be the first post-'Mania guest on The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network.

*With WrestleMania now over & done with, she very much hopes that World Wrestling Entertainment will have big plans for her son, Harry Smith. She said that she hopes WWE will have big plans for Harry Smith. Diana believes that Harry is "going to change the business, just like Davey & Dynamite did, and become an international star in the WWE."

*She also wishes that the Smith & Hart families would put any past issues aside, and at least show unity for Harry's upcoming WWE television debut/his career.

*Diana thinks a new Hart Foundation would be a compliment to the Hart Family and would show respect. She is very excited that both Nattie Neidhart & TJ Wilson are under WWE contracts, in addition to Harry, showing the hart dynasty is still alive.

*She said that Harry still has his Monday Night Mayhem T-Shirt that he wore in his first ever singles match in the United States. Diana is proud of her son in working overseas & here in the States before deciding to finally head to World Wrestling Entertainment full-time.

*Diana said that Teddy Hart terrifies her when he wrestlers, because he is death-defying. She does not think that he will go to the WWE, simply because he does not seem ready to commit to anything just yet.

*She does not appreciate when people say "wrestling is scripted or fake." A few years back, Sabu had a match with Teddy at her father's birthday show. Sabu shows up about ten minutes before his match, so him & Teddy could not go over anything at all beforehand. Still, they had a great match. In today's business, just like yester-year, you need to be able to improvise and be create to succeed.

*This summer will see the 15-year anniversary of the classic Bret "Hitman" Hart/"British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Diana remembers this match as if it were yesterday. Around the time of that event, she remembers Davey having a flesh-eating disease after banging his knee, and the doctors did not know what it was. But Bret & Davey still wrestled the match, the fans there in attendance & on Pay-Per-View loved it, and no one wanted that night to end/go home.

*She said that she hopes Harry gets a chance to wrestle "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels before he retires. Her & her family are wrestling fans still to this day, and Diana would love to see that match with HBK at this year's Survivor Series (the ten-year anniversary of the infamous "Montreal Screwjob"), but on a personal note her family might not want to have that happen.

*Diana said that she would love to see her father (Stu) in the WWE Hall Of Fame and would love to be accept the award on his behalf, for all he did in the business, and still gives to it this day in the form of his students he trained for many years (ex: Chris Benoit).

*She thinks that Owen Hart will eventually be in the WWE Hall Of Fame, but World Wrestling Entertainment would want it to be done in the proper perspective -- hence, why they have not rushed into inducting Owen just yet.

*Diana strongly believes that her late husband, Davey Boy Smith, will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame next year as part of WrestleMania 24 weekend, or in 2009 as part of WrestleMania XXV weekend. She also thinks The Dynamite Kid should be inducted as well, but that might not happen for a while, because of certain issues between both parties.

*In closing, she very much appreciates wrestling & non-wrestling fans throughout the world saying how The Hart Family were some of the "true pioneers" of the wrestling business. She wants the lineage of the family to continue in Harry, Nattie, & Teddy for years to come.

*An over one-hour interview covering plenty of additional topics (including Diana's thoughts on WrestleMania 23, if she had any hesitation about getting involved in Davey Boy's feud with Shawn Michaels, if she would ever appear again on WWE television, & more) which can be head here: (www.mondaynightmayhemarchives.com/waxfiles/040207.wax: streaming) (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/mondaynightmayhem/~3/106294680/040207.mp3: podcast)

*In addition to Diana's spectacular interview as part of this week's show, you can also hear all of the fallout from WrestleMania 23. As The Big Mosh & Blade returned from "The Motor City," they were joined by wrestling author/journalist, Scott Williams, & The Monster Factory's Jim Molineaux to recap all of the grandeur, the spectacle, & the memories of "The Grand Daddy Of Them All."
