DOUG GENTRY PASSED AWAY

Many came out to say goodbye to Bam Bam….
Doug Gentry, who was one of the people behind the Ring of Honor promotion when it first started, passed away earlier this morning at the age of 34.
According to reports, Gentry suffered a severe heart attack at about 3:00 am last night that turned out to be fatal. He had been suffering from heart disease.
After leaving Ring Of Honor in 2004, Gentry continued in the wrestling industry as a booker for several Indy promotions.
We would like to pass along our sympathy and condolences to the family, friends and fans of Doug Gentry.

I just received a phone call, informing me that many, many fans, wrestlers and photographers came out in this sub-zero weather to pay their respects to Bam Bam Bigelow.
Diamond Dallas Page, Afa The Wild Samoan, Samu, Mick Foley, Jim Neidhart, Doink (Ray), Missy Hyatt, along with many Indy workers and fans turned out to say good-bye.
The casket was closed.
