(12/26/07) According to the official Universal Orlando calendar page, Jaws will be closed for rehab from 1/28/08 to 2/8/08.
(12/24/07) While the new Starbucks location isn’t yet open, a reader did grab a photo of the outside of the building as well as sneak a shot in through the window to see the inside. It also seems that there will also be a Ben & Jerry’s station in there as well. Currently the location is rumored to be opening on Wednesday.
(12/20/07) We’ve heard from park guests that as rumored, a new Starbucks sign has gone up in the park in the old Arcade building that was used as the second half of the Vampyr haunt at Halloween Horror Nights.
(12/17/07) Orlando Rocks has posted all new construction photos of Disaster and Simpsons. Meanwhile a bunch of new Macy’s Parade photos have been added to the Universal-Excitement site.
2008 - Mardi Gras 2008 - (1/7/08) While Lil Brian & The Travelers will be playing at Mardi Gras, they will not be the headliners playing on the big stage on 4/19/08. The main act is still “TBA”.

(12/12/07) Mardi Gras 2008 will take place every Saturday Night from February 2nd to April 19th. Universal is currently running a special Mardi Gras package offer that starts at $249 per adult that includes 3 nights hotel accommodations, a 2 park unlimited admission ticket and access to the live entertainment venues at Citywalk.
2008 - Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride - (1/9/08) It has been confirmed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be present at the grand opening of Disaster on January 17th.
