Chris Wylde (Champion): defending ECWA Unified Heavyweight Champion; this will be a record 4th title defense in 5 weeks; a 2010 ECWA Super 8 finalist and a former ECWA Mid-Atlantic Champion (for 11 months); did what no one else could do for a year and a half when he unseated Papadon for the ECWA Title; body is battered and bruised from a year long brutal feud with Blackheart; defeated Papadon in a rematch, won a triple threat over Papadon and Breaker Morant and pinned Bobby Shields all in the month of Oct; will the dream live for another day or is Wylde outnumbered and worn out?
"Greek God" Papadon (Challenger): the most dominant ECWA Heavyweight Champion in history at 560 days; won the title the 2nd night in the company; had an amazing 20-0 won-loss record with great matches and wins over Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole, Chris Wylde, Aden Chambers, Tony Nese and many, many more; is also the 2012 Super 8 Champion, former ECWA Mid-Atlantic Champion, 2011 ECWA Wrestler of the Year and 2011 ECWA Hall of Famer; now has Anthony J Cicco as his personal ring announcer; this match could be now or never for the former champion!
Tony Mamaluke (Challenger): relatively new to ECWA; fans have taken a strong liking to the former ECW, WWE, WCW, ROH and TNA star; most well known for his tag team exploits w/ Little Guido as FBI; often underrated and overlooked, looking to make his mark as a great singles competitor in ECWA and certainly has the skill set and experience to do it; recently went to a time limit draw with two of his opponents in this match, Papadon and Josh Daniels; trained by the "Man of 1,000 Holds" Dean Malenko and it shows!
Josh Daniels (Challenger): member of the nefarious Blackheart that terrorized ECWA and Chris Wylde for a year; definately one of the most technically sound wrestlers today; a former Super 8 competitor himself; won a similar Four Corners Match back several months ago at ECWA Divide & Conquer over Bobby Shields, Aden Chambers and Johnny Silver; had an excellent match with Tony Mamaluke at the ECWA 45th Anniversary Show that ended in a time limit draw; has a pinfall over over Chris Wylde on a TWA event in New Jersey! |
