ECW Superstar Elijah Burke haven't been in the ring for the past couple of weeks due to an undisclosed injury. However, Burke may have furthered injured himself in a match with Batista at this weeks Smackdown taping.

After dropping Batista to the mat, Burke jumped off the second rope and was met with what looked like a Spear/Spinebuster combination. I WAS THERE, IT WAS BRUTAL (But awesome looking as well). Burke was writhing in pain and was so out of it that when taking the Batista Bomb you could clearly see his head bounce off the mat. Burke was out cold and could not get up. The trainers came out to revive Burke but after coming to, he still couldn't get up on his on in which more help came out. The crowd fell silent and I grew very concern as well. After about 5-8 min off lying almost motionless in the ring, they were able to help Burke to his feet and carried him off. The Crowd applauded, big time! (Face?) Burke was seen later walking very slow and holding his neck.
