I was at the Friday session for Steel City Con and met both Kevin Nash and Ricky Steamboat.
The lines were fairly short for every celebrity given that it was the first day.
I hit Steamboat’s line first since his was longer. It moved fine but Steamboat was really interacting with everyone. When it was my turn I got two autographs (one for a secret Santa) and a picture.
Steamboat graciously accepted my paint pen since he did not have one and allowed me to pick whichever 8×10 I wanted. I asked him how he was doing and he said physically good and told me how a lot of wrestlers stop working out after they retire but that he kept at it. We talked more and then when it came time for the picture, he took off his Hall of Fame ring and let me wear it for the photo.
Nash was talking alcohol and realized I was there and pretty much I was invited to join in. Somehow it got to Kentucky Bourbon but I held in. Nash quick signed the picture and the handler seemed to transition to a picture and I asked if I could get my name on there which Kevin did after he ended the conversation. He was nice to me which was good. He added an inscription as well before we posed for the photo.
