Hard to believe the 2 wrestlers who made up my favorite act during the growth of ECW are now dead.  When I was living in Florida, ECW came on the Sunshine Network at 1:00 a.m.  It was a rite of passage for me to stay up or set my alarm for 1 to watch it as it aired.  I did not want to videotape it.  The highlight for me was always the Public Enemy vignettes.  To me , they were ECW.   When I started ring announcing for ECW, besides Paul E. , they made me feel the most comfortable and didn't look at me as some "sheet writer" who was invading their business.

After the ECW days, next time I saw them was at a WCW taping at MGM where ref Jimmy Jett and I ate lunch with them. 

My fave memory of them was in Tampa when they were the last match on the show and they invited the fans into the ring to cabbage patch with them.  The ring collapsed.  Some of you on this e-mail were at that show as well.  The look on the owner of the ring's face (Ray ?) was priceless.

Anyways, as I look through my tape collection and discard ones I don't want, my ECW tapes will remain in my possesion in part due to Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge......."The Mack Daddies Of Violence!!!!!!  from Ron....
