Hi Georgie!
Once again, with the world famous Conway brothers by my side, I attended the Legends of the Ring event earlier today. What more can be said about what a GREAT job Terrance and James do for this event? It was well organized and very well done. My biggest problem is we all had to cut out early for a confirmation later that day!!!
The guests we DID meet were wonderful. I want to make a few points of note: It was a real thrill to meet Greg Gagne, whose dad, Verne, could not make it for medical reasons. I had him sign my autograph "The First Family of the AWA" (how true). Shane Douglas was great but the surprise of the day was the Ultimo Dragon, who dressed like a combination of Rey Mysterio and Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice. What a nice guy!
I look forward to their next event in October when hopefully we can all stay until the doors shut!
