NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest -- Less Than 2 Weeks Away!The NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest, with more than forty former NWA wrestling heroes and villains, takes place Friday through Sunday, August 19-21 at the Hilton University Place Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Fanfest is a three-day weekend of fun; a "dream come true" for any old-school wrestling enthusiast. The weekend affords us an opportunity to meet, chat with and get autographs from the legendary performers from our childhood. There will be autograph signings with each of the wrestling legends, chances to get your photo taken with the wrestling greats, memorabilia displays and, basically, "everything under the sun" that a wrestling fan could want. And this year, for the first time ever, fanfest will include live wrestling matches that will showcase some of today's brightest young stars and "future legends."

The NWA wrestling legends confirmed thus far include Harley Race, Dory Funk Jr., Terry Funk, Jack Brisco, Barry Windham, Bobby Heenan, Ole Anderson, James J. Dillon, Stan Hansen, Dick Slater, Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, Jim Cornette, Dennis Condrey, Bobby Eaton, Paul Jones, Baron Von Raschke, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, Masked Superstar, Ken Patera, Tony Atlas, Mr. Wrestling II, Greg Valentine, Brad Armstrong, "Playboy" Gary Hart, Denny Brown, Ox Baker, Sir Oliver Humperdink, Tracy Smothers, Penny Banner, George South, Bill White, Ron Rossi, Mike Fever, and The Mulkeys.
On Saturday night, August 20, a live wrestling card featuring a mix of legends and "future legends" will take place. Already confirmed: The Rock-n-Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) square off against The Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton) with Jim Cornette with Tommy Young as special referee, NWA World Tag Team champions The Naturals battle former champs America's Most Wanted and, in a special three-way, Elix Skipper, Chris Sabin and Petey Williams put it all on the line in a match to determine the opponent for "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles on Sunday evening!
That's right! A second wrestling card has been added for Sunday night, August 21, highlighted by the former NWA World champion A.J. Styles. VIPs will be given an opportunity to retain their same seats for just $10.
There will be more names -- and matches -- announced as we get closer to fanfest weekend.
Tickets to the wrestling cards are sold separately and the matches will be open to the public. A Ringside Reserved ticket to Saturday night's matches is included in our VIP All Access package!
