Former WWE Stars Set To Replace A Re-Injured Kevin Nash As Part of NWS Double-Shot This Weekend 1/30-1/31 In Manville & Brick, NJ

The originally scheduled headliner for National Wrestling Superstars' double-shot this weekend 1/30-1/31, former WWE & WCW Heavyweight Champion and current TNA Wrestling superstar "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash, who had been recovering from an elbow injury, re-injured his elbow over the past weekend. Not wanting to disappoint the fans by having Kevin Nash make a non-wrestling appearance, NWS management searched far and wide for a big name to take the place of the injured Nash and boy, did they ever find someone who is bigger and badder than anyone, Big Daddy V, or as he was known on WWE's ECW brand of television Viscera...all 500 pounds worth of him. The same Viscera who from 2005-2007 was known as the World's Largest Love Machine on WWE television.

But NWS management was not done. They added two more wrestlers who were regulars on that other wrestling company (you know, the one in Stamford Connecticut) weekly TV event, the Chair Swinging Freak Balls Mahoney and former ECW/WWE Star James Maritato, or as their fans know him as Little Guido or Nunzio (depending on when you saw him from TV). And you can be sure that NWS isn't done y et and they'll be more surprises as well.

And even though the tri-state area fans won't get to see their favorite football teams in Sunday's Super Bowl, they will still get to see some of their favorite wrestling superstars on these super events, courtesy of everybody's favorite fan-friendly wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars!

Friday night January 30th, NWS returns to the home of the annual J-Cup Classic, the Manville, NJ VFW Hall, 600 Washington Avenue (minutes from Routes 287 & 28), with all the action getting under way at 7:45pm. Joining Viscera, Mahoney and Nunzio at the top of the bill will be other TV wrestling icons including another former star just off of WWE TV, Nunzio and WCW superstar, the evil mastermind “The Taskmaster” Kevin Sullivan, and a pair of former WWE stars in the likes of “America's Hero” The Patriot and the diabolical Salvatore Sincere. In addition to the TV stars, the crowd will be entertained by a host of local pro mat standouts. Manville's own Nate Mustang will team up with The Jersey Cowboy against their arch rivals, the evil Indian warrior Draven and the wild man of Borneo,=2 0King Nagumbo. In a battle of true high fliers, NWS Jer sey Shore Champion Myke “G.Q.” Quest takes on Chikara Wrestling star Golden Lynx. And in a special ladies bout, rising star Brooke Carter will challenge veteran Trixie Lynn. All this and much more, and with ticket prices only $19 for adults and $17 for kids & seniors, good seats are sure to sell out fast.

Saturday night January 31st, NWS returns to the site of multiple sellout crowds over the years, the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge, 2491 Hooper Avenue (minutes from the Parkway & Route 70), with all the action getting under way at 7:35pm. Along with encore appearances by Big Daddy V (Viscera), Nunzio, Balls Mahoney, Kevin Sullivan, and The Patriot, one-time ECW brawler, and area native The Equalizer will join the fray. Local big men Cameron Shaft & Ryan Blackheart, and the dangerous duo of NWS Heavyweight Champion Danny Demanto and the wild man from Borneo King Nagumbo will be on the prowl for fresh competition.

All this plus much more. The Brick Elks Lodge nearly always sells out, and ticket prices as low as $20 for adults and $18 for kids & seniors will only make it sel l out even faster.

Tickets are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.

All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Remaining seats, if any (and that's a mighty big "if" when we're talking about NWS' two most popular venues), will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
