…..

Former Buffalo Bills offensive lineman & aspiring WWE wrestler, Mitch Frerotte, collapsed & died suddenly this past Wednesday at home in Kittanning, PA, about 30 miles from Pittsburgh from a thickening of the heart muscle -- a condition that can cause sudden death. He was 43 years old.

He played for the Bills in 1987, then during their Super Bowl seasons of 1990-92. He played mostly as a reserve & on special teams.

Mitch went on the record numerous times in past interviews stating his love for the wrestling business, and his desire to be a professional wrestler. Some of you may remember Vince McMahon announcing in the early days of Monday Night RAW after the Bills competed in Super Bowls XXVII & Super Bowl XXVIII against the Dallas Cowboys that Mitch Frerotte was headed to the WWE. For whatever reason or another, it never happened.

Mitch was known for wearing his "Alice Cooper" black make-up/face paint during NFL games, which would run down his face by the time the game was over & done with.
