Funk's Corner - "Champions"
Our congratulations to alumni of the "Dory Funk Method" of professional wrestling this week.
Last night on Smackdown, Kurt Angle won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the finals of a battle royal over Mark Henry. Also in the battle royal were Paul London, Matt Hardy and Sylvan Grannier.
On January 8th Edge, cashed in his "Money in the Bank" and won the WWE Championship from John Cena.
The following night on Raw, Edge and Lita, were featured in the highest rated segment on Raw in a long time. Also featured on Raw was Mickie James, Gene Sniski and Val Venis.
In The upcoming TNA Pay Per View, "Final Resolution," Rhino, Christian and Christopher Daniels have staring roles.
What do all these wrestlers have in common in addition to training under the "Dory Funk Method" of professional wrestling? Their work ethic. They all have worked hard to accomplish their goals and each one has proved to be a Champion.
