Funk's Corner - Happy New Year 2006
At the Funking Conservatory Marti and I brought in the new year watching wrestling on television (TNA and UFC for several hours) and were entertained. TNA put together two good shows with solid performances by former trainees of the "Dory Funk Method," Christian, Fallen Angel (Christopher Daniels) and Rhino.
Christian Introducing Sting just after midnight was a prime spot for such an important announcement
Also impressive on the show was Samoa Joe who made believers out of us with his unique wrestling style.
Fallen Angel and A.J. Styles were an exciting combination for America's Most Wanted, who I have unresolved issues with still since Terry and I wrestled against them at WrestleReunion I in January of 2005 in Tampa, Florida
NWA World Champion, Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown have now accomplished a wider interest in their tag team combination to carry the main event on "Final Resolution with Sting and Cage.
My Father used to say, "Give the fans what they want to see and they will come." In starting the New Year, TNA has the opportunity to close the gap with hard work and talent of interest to the fans.

The Funking Conservatory January Training Camp starts the day before Final Resolution on January 14th. and runs through February 3rd.
Carlos Colon and Victor Jovica from WWC Puerto Rico will be here on January 29 to scout wrestlers for their company and on January 30 WWE will present a Raw / Smackdown SuperShow in Orlando. For more information go to http://www.wwe.com/.
