Part two of the G1 Supercard from a sold-out Madison Square Garden welcomes back Ring of Honor wrestling to AXS TV for one night. In the main event, the “Greatest First-Generation Wrestler in History” Jay Lethal puts the ROH World title on the line in a triple threat ladder match. In the events leading up, the leader of “The Kingdom” Matt Taven, considered himself the uncrowned champion. Even going as far as to walk around with his own custom title. Upsetting Lethal, the two squared off last month in a matchup that went the distance. After 60 grueling minutes, the time limit had expired and it was ruled a draw. In the eyes of Taven, he was the rightful champion. But before anything could be done about it, the arena lights went dark and when they popped back on “The Villain” was holding the title. Arguably the most popular of the three, Marty Scurll is ready to step up and grab the brass ring.

The undercard is nothing to sneeze at. Will Ospreay and Jeff Cobb will go head-to-head where the NEVER Open-weight and the ROH Television Title are both up for grabs. This will be a showcase of speed vs. strength. However, that won’t be the only match where both sets of titles are on the line. In a 4-way, Los Ingobernables de Japon’s SANADA and EVIL, The Briscoes, Guerillas of Destiny, and Villain Enterprises all will do battle with one another to take home the ROH and IWGP Tag Team Championship.

As if three championship bouts weren’t enough, in what could be the show stealer, the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title hangs in the balance when Taiji Ishimori defends the gold against Bandido and Dragon Lee.
