Hill in a three-way; the Patriot & the Canadian over Ben Thrasher & Simon Sermon; Antonio Garza over Stupid, with Tweety; Josh Stone & the Nightmare over Frankie Valentine & Chip Day; Bambi over Peggy Lee Lather, with Nigel Sherrod, for the NAWA Women’s Title; Bulldog Raines over Mike Reed, with Jackie Rosedale, in a dog collar match; and Bobby Hayes versus Abdullah the Butcher ended in a no contest. Charlie Smith, Abdullah, and the Nightmare were inducted into the NAWA Hall of Fame. The main event was set up after Abdullah busted his plaque over the head of NAWA promoter Phil Heffner, and Hayes had come to his rescue. The Fourth of July weekend was a busy one for Southern States Championship Wrestling as they had two shows in two days as part of the Enigma Firecracker Festival. On July 4, a reported crowd of 212 people saw the following: in a Southern Heritage Championship match, "Rock N Roll" Chris Turner defeated The Lumberjack to retain the title. The Foley vs. The Soviet was declared a no contest when Brooks Rogers interfered. Bryan Fury & Samantha Steel beat Mad Dog Miller & J.T. Taylor. Logan Stevens beat SSCW Heavyweight champion Jarrod Michaels in a non-title match. In a hardcore match, Unknown Soldier defeated Brooks Rogers, who was attacked after the match by Foley. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich was on hand for pictures and signing autographs for the fans. On July 5, there was reportedly a crowd of 202. Jelena defeated Samantha Steel to win the SSCW Women's championship when The Soviet's interference backfired. Mad Dog Miller defeated Roland Dyce. Logan Stevens defeated Lee Williams III. In a Southern Heritage title rematch, Chris Turner defeated The Lumberjack to retain the title. In a Fans bring weapons match, Brooks Rogers defeated Foley and declared himself the new king of hardcore. Scotty Biggs vs. J.T. Taylor ended in a double countout. SSCW Heavyweight champion Jarrod Michaels defeated "Wildfire" Tommy Rich by DQ when Rich accidentally hit the referee. On August 2, SSCW presents “Aftermath”, which will be at the Enigma Gym in Enigma, GA. Bell time is 7:30 PM and all tickets are $2.
