Peach State Pandemonium featured Bill Behrens and A.J. Steele this morning. Behrens discussed the latest issues relating to attempts to regulate wrestling in Georgia. Steele talked openly about his decision to leave Great Championship Wrestling. Click here for the archive.

Great Championship Wrestling results from Phenix City, AL, on April 10: Attendance was around 300. The referees for the evening were Randy Ray and Jeff McGowan. Randall Johnson defeats Jay Fury w/a Celtic Cross. Scotty Beach defeats Slaughter w/Wicked Nemesis after reversing a suplex into a schoolboy. After the match, Orion Bishop runs down and spears Beach. John Bogie runs in for the save. Shaun Banks w/Quentin Michaels and Zero Tolerance defeats Sonny Siaki after Zero spinebusts Siaki while the referee was distracted. Michael Cook defeats Jonathan Davis after blocking a flying sunset flip. J-Rod defeats Johnny Swinger by DQ after Swinger hit J-Rod with the title belt. David Young and Tex Monroe defeats Cru Jones and Zero Tolerance w/Quentin Michaels after Monroe hits Jones with a springboard legdrop. (Brian Slack)

Southern Championship Wrestling presents "Spring Breakout 08" to take place tonight at the Salvation Army Gym in Sanford, FL, at 7:30. The advertised main event is for the SCW tag team championship as Elite Party members Axis and Rod the Bod take on the Asian Superstar Organization, Jason Hexx and Ryze. In a champion versus champion, with both titles on the line, Light Heavyweight champion Nooie Lee takes on Florida champion Aaron Epic. In a blindfold match, the Mighty Ox faces off against Shiek Mohamaad Akbar. Hammer vs. Jesse Pain for the GCW Heavyweight Title, Joey Mercury vs. Inhuman Fly, Nasty Kritters vs. Samoan Soldiers for the GCW tag titles, Antonio Garza vs. Shanghai Dragon, and Russian Assassin vs. Maddog Sawyer. Mr. Wrestling was initially declared the winner on the match with El Mongol, but Mongol had knocked referee Leo Garibaldi and Louie Tillet, who had run in to help, made the count. The decision was reversed afterward by Garibaldi, saying Tillet was not a licensed referee. He did, however, disqualify Mongol for his actions. Mongol had been billed as Georgia Heavyweight Champion since October 10, 1967.
