MAY 27, 1927 (FRIDAY) Notes: It was reported that the Athletic Commission instructed John Contos to release the wrestlers pay from the card on May 26, 1927. It was mentioned that Wladek Zbyszko was paid $169, but Joe Stecher’s pay was not disclosed. In the release, Contos was referred to as the matchmaker, whereas Fuzzy Woodruff was credited as being the promoter of the event. It is unclear exactly what role Woodruff actually played, if any, within the promotion.
