Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling results from Easley, SC, on January 26: Chris Hamrick (billed from ECW) pinned Donnie Dollars in 12:24 following a legdrop off the top rope; Rock 'n' Roller Ricky Morton pinned Andrue Bane in 8:11; Bobby Eaton upset The Barbarian in 10:38; In a supposedly non-title affair, Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell won a reversed decision over Mid-Atlantic Jr Heavyweight Champion Rikki Nelson; and The Barbarian won the imaginary "$1,000" eight-man battle royal, dumping both Eaton and Dollars to win in a whopping 8:15. 1950: We do not have results for this match, but if you are keeping score, Lillian Ellison (Fabulous Moolah) was scheduled to wrestle Celia Blevins at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Paul Jones.
1955: Don McIntyre & Chief Big Heart defeated Jerry Graham & Tokyo Joe in the main event at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Paul Jones.
1964: Jack Vansky, Johnny Bruce, Billy & Bad Boy Hines defeated George Wolfe, Bob Morrow, Greg Peterson & Little Abner in the main event at the Macon City Auditorium for promoter Fred Ward. Ward was not affiliated with Georgia Championship Wrestling at this time.
1966: A tournament for the vacant World Tag Team Title started at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Paul Jones. Al Costello & Louie Tillet defeated Eric & Karl Von Brauner, managed by Saul Weingeroff, and the Mysterious Medics defeated Mario Galento & Chief Little Eagle to advance to the finals on February 4, 1966.
1969: Hans Schmidt defeated Jim Wilson in the main event at the Macon Coliseum for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Fred Ward. Also, Dale Lewis, managed by Jack Crawford, defeated Tim Geohagen in the semi-main event.
1970: Dory Funk, Jr., defeated Nick Bockwinkel by disqualification to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Title at the Columbus Municipal Auditorium for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Fred Ward. Joe Scarpa, Doug Gilbert & El Mongol defeated Paul DeMarco, Homer O’Dell & Buddy Colt in the semi-main event.
1972: Dick Steinborn, Bob Armstrong, Bobo Brazil & El Mongol defeated Buddy Colt, Karl Von Stroheim, Bepo Mongol (Nikolai Volkoff) & Mr. X in the main event at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Paul Jones. Assassin #1 managed Von Stroheim, Bepo Mongol, and Mr. X. Jimmy Dancing Bear, who participated in an autograph session for fans, defeated Oki Shikina in the semi-main event. Charlie Smith was credited as being a referee for this card.
1977: Terry Funk defeated Dusty Rhodes to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Title at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Paul Jones.
