NOTES

The second edition of Peach State Pandemonium took place this morning, featuring our guest Gary Hart. Crimson Mask was the co-pilot this week. There were some technical difficulties at the beginning of the program, but we got it fixed in time for a nice interview with Hart. Click here to listen in the event you missed us live. Next week we will feature Ron West and Bull Buchanan at 11 AM ET. (Rich Tate)

It was recently announced that Total Nonstop Action would be presenting a live event on March 27, during the normal time slot for iMPACT, but that now appears to be on hold. A firm decision to cancel has not been made, but it is also not definite whether they will follow through with it. An announcement is expected next week. (Rich Tate)

In a move that no doubt raises eyebrows, it has been learned that Vince McMahon has declined to attend a February 27 hearing before Congress to address issues on the health of athletes. According to our sources, McMahon chose not to attend, as noted World Wrestling Entertainment attorney Jerry McDevitt could not be available to accompany him to the session. Key leaders of all major sports leagues within the United States were also invited, as was George Mitchell, and there has been no indication that any of them will not gather before the committee. (Rich Tate)

GWH wishes a happy birthday to Ron Niemi, who turns 38 today.

On this day in 1999, Rick ‘Renegade’ Williams committed suicide at 23.

Jesus Perez died one year ago today of natural causes at the age of 91.
