Approximately 45 people braved the blizzard of 08.Drew Haskins beat J-5 by DQ; TJ Harley beat Hammerjack; Boogie Woogie Boy beat Matt Dillinger; and Arrick Andrews beat Rick Santel in a ladder match to win the NWA Top Rope Jr. Heavyweight Championship. Mike Sircy, the head honcho of Top Rope had held up the belt at the start of the night. Sircy canceled the NWA Top Rope show scheduled for Saturday night in

1936: Orville Brown and Paul Jones wrestled to a draw in the main event at Loew’s Grand Theatre in
1937: Pat Newman defeated Yusef Hussane two falls to one in the main event at the New Coliseum in
1939: The Red Devil defeated Jack Ross in the main event at the Warren Arena in

Nick Kozak & Bobby Hart defeated El Mongol & Oki Shikina by disqualification in the semi-main event. Jack Crawford managed El Mongol. Eddie Smith was credited as being a referee on this card.
1970: Southeastern Tag Team Champions Alberto & Ramon Torres defeated the Assassins in a main event title match at the Macon City Auditorium for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Fred Ward. El Mongol defeated Buddy Colt, managed by Homer O’Dell, in the semi-main event.
1972: Roberto Soto, who participated in an autograph session for fans, defeated Billy Spears in a main event
1973: On the “Georgia Championship Wrestling” television program hosted by Gordon Solie, Lou Thesz performed a demonstration of wrestling holds with Jerry Oates, Jack Evans, and Butcher Brannigan.
1975: We do not have results, but a main event featuring Dusty Rhodes versus Abdullah the Butcher was advertised at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Paul Jones.
