Triple H beat Edge

CM Punk won after a disqualification when Kane came and beat the crap out of CM Punk and Batista.

Place was packed, now going back home to Boston Monday afternoon.

Just viewed the Great American Bash PPV and here is what I thought:

Mild thumbs up.

Best Match: Tie between HBK vs Jericho and HHH vs Edge.  I thought both of these were the standouts. Not great matches but I thought were both very good, well worked matches.

Worst Match: Would be easy to give it to the ECW Match but I will give it to JBL vs Cena. Just a Big Load of garbage, IMO.

Let me get started: I really enjoyed the HBK vs Jericho match. Very well worked match. Ending was a bit different. I thought HBK would be attacked at the end or whatever. Anyway, I do think that the crowd was killed by that horrid ECW match that preceded it somewhat.  Regardless, both guys did a great job.

The HHH vs Edge match was a very well worked match. Sure, Vickie came down to interfere and so did Fox. I thought that Edge was gonna spear the ref but maybe it was Fox he was trying to spear. Did not make sense if it WAS Fox. I am sure we will be hearing a certain party's Funeral Music pretty soon now that Vickie has been attacked. I enjoyed this match as both Hunter and Edge did a very good job. I enjoyed both of these two matches the best.

The Worst Match was that NY Brawl between JBL and Cena. Sorry. I did not like that match at all. Just the two of them throwing each other around.

The rest of the card varied between good and terrible. 

The Hardy vs Benjamin match was pretty decent. Nice to see Shelton get a belt. He has not won one in forever and a day. I hope he gets a good push.

The opener, the Fatal Four way for the Smackdown Tag belts was a solid opener. Nice to see Zach and Kurt win. That was cool.  Good work by all participants.

CM Punk got treated like a chump instead of a champ. Just ridiculous. Match was good until that stupid ending. Kane's interference was ridiculous and then to have Batista Batista bomb Punk after the match was just wrong.

The Diva Match was just there. It did not do anything for me.

The ECW match was terrible and had a stupid heel turn.

Overall though, I did like the show. Not anything to really rave about, but a fairly strong show.
