Hi Georgie,I got back from Heavy on Wrestling on November 15th and have to say "WOW!" This was by far the best indy experience in my entire life. Results of the event are below...
Nate Bash defeated Austin Aries
Mikey Mondo formerly of the Spirit Squad defeated Dickie Rodz w/Bobby Reidel
Formerly of WWE Cherry defeated WCW's Daffney and Ann Brookstone in a Triple Threat. Owner of the company, Heavy D refereed the match in which was a comical sight to see as he was more interested in drinking the sponsoring beer company's beer than he was for counting Ann Brookstone's pin attempts.
4 Way Elimination Tables Match
Arya Daivari (Younger brother of Shawn Daivari) defeated Venom, Brody Hoofer, and Joey Envy. - WOW these guys fought long and hard and took some nasty falls. Hoofer was really cut up after the match!
Formerly of the WWE the Highlanders defeated Northstar Express
Black Stallion defeated Thoruf when Thoruf's brother whom is midget Bad Boy Brian turned on him.
Main Event - Ben Sailer defeated Arik Cannon to win the HOW Championship. Mick Foley was the special ref and Terry Funk was the special enforcer. Both Funk and Foley got hit with chairs by Arik Cannon. Foley's socko was also stolen by Cannon which prompted Foley to push Funk over and pull his sock off to give Cannon and even nastier experience as he tasted the gross sock.
After the match Terry Funk and Mick Foley grabbed the mic and thanked the crowd and prompted the locker room and the owner of Heavy on Wrestling, Heavy D, to come to the ring. Terry Funk said this is the "REAL HEAVY ON WRESTLING" and hinted he was coming back again next year.
I got to chat with Funk a little bit and asked him when he was coming back. He smiled and said next year he'd be back to tear the roof of this place!
