Osamu Nishimura to debut in World-1 on February 26th……
OSAMU NISHIMURA TO DEBUT IN WORLD-1 ON FEB 26February 9, 2006, 2:10am: Less then 10 minutes ago, WORLD-1 Vice President
Chet Lemon and CW Anderson agreed to terms with the man that Anderson will
bring to WORLD-1 on February 26 in Phoenixville, PA to challenge WORLD-1
heavyweight champion Ricky Landell and that man is former New Japan Pro
Wrestling's OSAMU NISHIMURA!
Nishimura, a 16 year veteran, declared himself Freelance earlier this year
from New Japan Pro Wrestling and wants to break out into the United States
independent scene.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for not only Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 but
our young champion Ricky Landell. Nishimura has been a student of the
game for many years and win, lose, or draw, Landell will come out of this
a better wrestler." Lemon said.
Nishimura has held the IWGP tag team titles once with Tatsumi Fujinami in
2001 and then again with Hiroyoshi Tenzan in 2003. He is looking to win
the WORLD-1 championship and defend the title in other US companies and in
Japan.
"I am very excited about wrestling against Mr. Nishimura", Ricky Landell
said after being woke up to the news. "Nishimura has had many great
trainers like Fujinami, Riki Choshu, and Dory Funk Jr. and I am looking to
learn from him. But he does need to realize that I am the WORLD-1
champion and I will be fighting to keep this title."
Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 is honored to have this wonderful Japanese superstar
in our company.
