WWC and WWE reached a cooperation agreement on July 7th….

Both companies will be working together regarding the next Puerto Rico's WWE event, a RAW Live brand event scheduled for 8/26 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum at San Juan.
This will be the first of some projects that WWC and WWE will be working together. The negotiations lasted several weeks and finally on 7/7 an agreement was reached. That means that WWC will be the only local company promoting and helping in the WWE show. Apparently there was an agreement that WWC will be the only company in Puerto Rico with rights to do shows with WWE talent.
Tickets for the event are scheduled to began on sale on 7/9 at Ticketpop and is expected to do good sales as prices are $75, $50, $35 y $20, which means they are lower from their previous event, that was a PPV event.

The owner and president of WWC in Puerto Rico, Carlos Colon will be at the Funking Conservatory on July 31st. Coming with Carlos will be his son, WWC Universal Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Colon and Carlos' daughter, Stacy Colon.
Carlos will be in the main event at the !BANG! TV Taping teaming with Eddie Colon to go against Dory Funk Jr. and the Funking Conservatory World Champion, Johnny Magnum. Carlos is a former WWC Champion as is Dory Funk Jr. Eddie Colon is the current WWC Champion. Carlos and Funk are former NWA World Champions. Stacy Colon will be wrestling "The Claw," Claudia Reiff for the Funking Conservatory Women's Championship.
Carlos along with his partner Victor Jovika started WWC / Capitol Sports Promotion in San Juan Puerto Rico in 1973 as a member of the original National Wrestling Alliance.
Carlos, Eddie and Stacy will be looking closely at the wrestling talent in training here at the Funking Conservatory.
The next big show in Puerto Rico is July 15, 16 and 17. (Bruiser Brody Memorial) July 31 the Colon family will invade the Funking Conservatory and on August 26th in San Juan Puerto Rico WWC and WWE will present a Raw Live Event.
