INDEPENDENT WRESTLER PAUL E. NORMUS PASSED AWAY @ 33

SLOATSBURG - Paul Fuchs, who wrestled under the name of Paul E. Normus, died yesterday at his parents' home in the village.

Ramapo police were called to the Laurel Road home at about 5:20 a.m. after a Fuchs, 33, was found "unresponsive" in the house, Detective Lt. Brad Weidel said.

"We don't see anything suspicious," Weidel said of the death.

An autopsy was to be conducted by the Rockland County Medical Examiner's Office.

"It's being handled like a medically related death," Weidel said.

Fuchs had a cameo in Darren Aronofsky's film "The Wrestler."

Perhaps Fuchs is best known for his size -- being billed at 6'6 -- and his muscularity. 

He worked for Ring of Honor and 3PW, as well as a celebrity bodyguard and personal trainer.
