IWC presents its Super Indy VII this Friday!

This show includes an eight man elimination tournament featuring some of the most talented stars in professional wrestling today, as well as a Boot Camp Match for the IWC World Heavyweight Title. Two of the most compelling matches, however, come in the form of the fatal fourway contest and the women’s match.

IWC Super Indy & IWC/IWCA Tex-Arkana TV Title Match:  Larry Sweeney vs Ruckus vs Bryan Alvarez vs Delirious

Normally, IWC fans are used to seeing the IWC Super Indy Champion "Sweet N Sour" Larry Sweeney holding the ICW/ICWA Tex-Arkana Television Title. But, back in November, he was defeated for the championship by Bryan Alvarez.

IWC fans may know Alvarez from his work with the Figure 4 Weekly Newsletter, Wrestling Observer Live radio show, and The Death of WCW book with Wrestlecrap.com's RD Reynolds. But what you may not know is that he is a trained professional wrestler. Usually plying his trade out in the Portland area, Alvarez had all but retired from wrestling when he and Sweeney got into a verbal altercation. Alvarez only agreed to do the match if Sweeney paid him $7,500. Sweeney agreed, and the two met for the first time at a Fight Sports Midwest event in Portage, Indiana. Sweeney was able to retain the ICW/ICWA Tex-Arkana Television Title after both men's shoulders were pinned to the mat. The rematch was set to happen in November 2007 at the New Alhambra (formerly the legendary ECW Arena) for the CHIKARA promotion. Sweeney even tried to pull a rabbit out of his hat by revealing his own personal ICW/ICWA Referee. But Alvarez was able to overcome the odds and defeat Sweeney with a superkick to win the title.

Alvarez had contacted IWC officials with the claim that he has something Sweeney wants. He's willing to put up the belt in the event that Sweeney puts his IWC Super Indy Title on the line. IWC officials were in the process of signing a Last Chance Fatal Four-Way (featuring three men who lost their Super Indy Qualifying Matches this year getting a title shot) when they got a message from Sweeney agreeing to the match with Alvarez. Since two men were already signed to the four-way, they've been inserted into the match as well! Former IWC Super Indy Champion and Super Indy V winner Delirious as well as the Super Indy VI show-stealer and former CZW Heavyweight Champion Ruckus will challenge for both the IWC Super Indy Title and the ICW/ICWA Tex-Arkana Television Title in this HUGE first-time-ever four-way! It will only happen on April 25th! It will only happen at Court Time Sports Center in Elizabeth, PA! And it will only happen in IWC!

IWC Women’s Match: Awesome Kong vs Daizee Haze

Ever since the advent of women's wrestling in IWC, Daizee Haze has been at the forefront. She teamed with Chris Hero at the first ever No Excuses in July 2005 to take on Glenn Spectre & Sumie Sakai, marking the first time women ever competed in an IWC ring. In November 2007, she wrestled Sara Del Rey in the first-ever IWC Women's Match. Now, on April 25th, women's wrestling returns to IWC, again with The Haze front and center. Despite her smaller stature, Haze has the speed, agility, and in-ring prowess to get the victory over anybody put in front of her.

IWC brings it's fans the biggest, best, and brightest stars in professional wrestling today. So what would women's wrestling be in IWC without the biggest, best, and brightest star of women's wrestling in America today? Unfortunately for Daizee Haze, that wrestler is the TNA Knockout Champion, Awesome Kong! Kong trained with Jesse Hernandez at the School of Hard Knocks, as well as in Japan at the All Japan Women's Dojo, and the Inoki LS Dojo. Over her 6 year career, she's held an amazing 11 women's wrestling titles around the globe, including the TNA Knockout Title, the NWA World Women's Title, and several tag team titles with Japanese wrestling legend Aja Kong. Her recent wars in TNA with Gail Kim have sometimes stolen the show and overshadowed the other scheduled matches. She has proven herself to be one of the most dominant wrestlers, male or female, in professional wrestling today. On April 25th in Elizabeth, PA, Daizee Haze will be in for the fight of her life as she takes on Awesome Kong.
