IWC TEAMS UP WITH STEEL CITY CON!
Pittsburgh, -- Orangestone Promotions, Inc., Promoters of Pennsylvania's Largest Toy and Pop Culture Convention, the Steel City Con (http://www.steelcitycon.com/) has announced that many big name Celebrities will be attending the upcoming Steel City Con. The Steel City Con is scheduled for October 24-26, 2008 however most of the Celebrity Guests will be signing on Saturday and Sunday of the event. (see show website for details). The Event will be held at the Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena (PISA) located at 220 Rich Hill Road., Cheswick, Pennsylvania 15024. Show Hours are Friday 2-7pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.
The Guest List for this October Show is includes names like RAY PARK, known for his role as "Darth Maul" in Star Wars. Ray Park will also have a key role playing "Snake-Eyes" in the upcoming G.I. Joe film. Horror Fans will see a rare appearance by DOUG BRADLEY who portrayed "Pinhead" in the Hellraiser films. Also appearing is DANIEL LOGAN who portrayed the young "Bobba Fett" from Star Wars. Many attendees will be coming to meet LOU FERRIGNO, known for his role as The Incredible Hulk and for The King of Queens. RICHARD KIEL will also be in attendance. Many James Bond fans know Mr. KIEL as the villain "Jaws" and many others know him as Mr. Larsen from the hit film Happy Gilmore. Wrestling Legend BRUNO SAMMARTINO will also be doing a signing appearance. Additionally, a Friday the 13TH Reunion is planned. C.J. GRAHAM who played "Jason Vorhees" in part VI will be attending with many others. The list of guests keeps growing so keep checking the show website for updates.
The Steel City Con is also pleased to announce that it has added a Live Professional Wrestling Tournament for its attendees for FREE. THE INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL (IWC) is teaming up for the first time with the Steel City Con in October to provide FREE Wrestling tournament for those that attend the show. Over 90,000 sq ft of collectible toys, comic books and much more! The show is also pleased that it can offer FREE PARKING and admission that is less than half the price of what similar shows charge. If attendees take advantage of a Special 3 DAY PASS adults get into the show for less than $7 per day and the first 1,000 who purchase a 3 DAY PASS get a GOODIE BAG which is filled with Toys and Comics valued at more than the price of admission.
The Steel City Con is by far one of the most reasonably priced conventions of this type for both attendees and for dealers. Promoters of the Steel City Con strongly believe that if Vendor space is offered at a very low price then dealers will be able to sell their items to our attendees for much less than conventions that charge a huge amount of money for dealer space. Dealer space is only $95 per table.
