Knight, Outlaw, Donavan & Blake Keep Titles at "Thanksgiving Thunder"
"Ross Family" Unit Reigns Supreme as Commissioner Controls the Gold

(West Paterson, NJ)- When the dust settled, Commissioner Rich Ross' men reigned supreme with their title reigns intact at the Independent Wrestling Federation's Thanksgiving Thunder Weekend.  Here is a complete recap of the events held Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20, 2005, at IWF Centre, West Paterson, NJ.

In the opening contest on November 19th, Playboy Vik Voorhees made a triumphant return to the IWF with a win over former tag team partner Tony Torres.

In a bout to determine the number-one contenders for an IWF Tag Team Title Match on November 20th, former champions Biggie Biggs and Aaron Stride of "Hott n' Heavy" defeated Robby Morrison and Bryan Harley.

Chris Steeler also made his return to the IWF with a victory against Antonio Rivera and Nick Sabre in a Triple Threat Elimination Match.  Rivera eliminated Sabre, then Steeler upended Rivera.

Four-time IWF Heavyweight Champion Kevin Knight offered a deal on behalf of Commissioner Ross for Junior Champion Dangerous Dan McGuire to join the "Ross Family."  McGuire refused, but after a hard-fought match-up between the former tag team champion partners, Knight managed to escape with his hand raised and kept the heavyweight title.

In yet another contest between former friends, BoneCrusher Fred Sampson defeated IWF American Champion Outlaw Shane O'Brien by count-out when SOB again left ringside to avoid the wrath of Sampson, however O'Brien retains the title.

Three-time IWF Tag Team Champions Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake defeated Justin Corino and Franciz to retain the titles.  After the bout, frustrations boiled over and Franciz assaulted his fellow Camp IWF comrade.

Day two of Thanksgiving Thunder on November 20th saw IWF Tag Team Champions Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake with Rich Ross defeat Biggie Biggs and Aaron Stride of "Hott n' Heavy" in a return match from Evil Intentions to retain the titles.  The win extends their one-month title reign.

In a rematch from the previous evening, Fred Sampson defeated IWF American Champion Shane O'Brien with Rich Ross by disqualification after SOB intentionally kicked Sampson low in front of referee Matt Bennett, enabling O'Brien again to retain the title by any means necessary.  O'Brien has held the title for eight months.

In a battle of former partners, Franciz defeated Justin Corino.

Tag team action saw Vik Voorhees and Chris Steeler unite to beat Tony Torres and Antonio Rivera of "Latin Revolution."

In a six-man tag team encounter, Robby Morrison, Bryan Harley and Rick Cataldo defeated Mike Durnin, Ed Johnson and Drew Chiminec.

The IWF Heavyweight Championship was on the line once again as Kevin Knight with Shane O'Brien in his corner defeated Dan McGuire with Fred Sampson to retain the title.  The win extends Knight's one-month title reign.  For more information visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.
